When I next saw Rielle weeks later, she told me that she'd been fired by the Edwards campaign. She seemed perfectly cheerful about it, but she proceeded to tell me a tale of woe—how the campaign hadn't understood her, how they'd ruined the Webisodes, how they'd impeded her vision and how Edwards himself had failed to defend her. The LA Times was sitting on a sex scandal story involving a Democrat presidential candidate since last October. Everyone assumed that the sex scandal story that the LA Times was sitting on was Hillary being a lesbian. I'm betting that it was this, particularly given the timing (the LA Times was holding back on the story at about the same time that the Enquirer broke it).
In any event, there were too many people who knew that they were having an affair, even if the MSM didn't want to touch the story.
Edwards had two options: (1) make an unequivocal and categorical denial, or (2) admit the parts that he had to admit and deny the rest.
If Edwards had made a categorical denial, then the MSM would have had to cover it, particularly the reporters that knew it was a lie.
Also, a denial would not have been believable unless he also threatened to file suit if the Enquirer did not retract their story. He may be a failed politician but he was a pretty successful trial lawyer.
The Enquirer was practically begging him to sue them. If he simply denied the story, the Enquirer could not force him into court. But if he went further and threatened to sue them if they did not retract, then the Enquirer could have raced to the courthouse and filed suit for declaratory judgment that the story was not libelous.
Actually Mr.Fred Baron, a barrister from Dallas, Texas has said he is paying for the Young Family and Ms.Hunter/Rielle and the baby, to live in a $4.3 house in Los Angeles, city of angels. It is widely reported that Mr.and Mrs. Young and their 2 kids are receiving $20,000 and Ms.Hunter is receiving $15,000 per month. He is doing this simply to help 2 friends. Mr.Baron said he would say nothing else about this matter. We shall see. Of course, it is also reported that $1.082 million miracuously found its way from the Edwards campaign coffers/527 into the account of a Dallas lawyer,and friend and supporter of John Edwards, one Fred Baron. He has said all he will say on the matter.....perhaps.....but the Federal Elections laws may say otherwise, as may the IRS as may the Justice Department as may some disctrict court judge who hears this case. Lots of questions yet to be ansered, and not just from those of us voyeuristic observers who follow politics.
No, you may be right, but I think Lizzy, nothwitstanding her statements to the contrary that Mr.Edwards told her Nov.2006, found out in reality and by Mr.Edwards direct admission the next day after being confronted by the Enquirer. I suspect it went something like this....."Listen Baby, I have something to tell you, but I don't know quiet know where to start.....", or some-such sh*t. I think Mr.Edwards was last serviced on the evening of July 21. His prostate is getting a little congested. He might consider the recommendation of Jack Nicholson after many Hollywood women cut him off in the mileau of AIDS...retire to the bathroom with a magazine and a good attitude about the circumstances he finds himself in.
It boils down to which of these options do you think is most likely:
1. Edwards said he would take a DNA test because he has already taken one and knows he is not the father; or
2. Edwards said he would take a DNA test because he knew Hunter would refuse to take one and Edwards is willing TO BET EVERYTHING on Hunter not changing her mind.
Keep in mind, if Edwards is the father, Hunter will be able to get a healthy percentage of Edwards' income for the next 18 years as child support, sell her story and exclusive pictures to a tabloid for a minimum of $1,000,000, and then sign a book deal and go on the talk show circuit. In addition, if Edwards is the father and Hunter is refusing to allow a DNA test because he asked her not to, then she can blackmail him for any amount she wants.
I just don't think there is any possibility that they haven't both had DNA tests run, probably without the knowledge or consent of the other. It was just too easy for each of them to acquire the necessary DNA samples and too stupid for either of them to make any demands, speak to the press, or refuse to speak to the press without knowing for sure the paternity of the baby.
Interestingly, Rielle is apparently the daughter of Alex Hunter, the original DA involved with the JonBenet Ramsey case. Small world...
Both Edwards had a dream of power. They can say they wanted to get the power to change the world for the better. But I think we all know they really stay together to hopefully grab the power ring. Sort of like the Clintons. Does anyone really think they’d be together if not for the lust for power?

I believe that Hunter loves Edwards and that most likely Edwards promised her they would be together after Elizabeth dies. She will most likely try to cover for him as long as she can so she will continue receiving financial help.
If, as you say, Edwards knows he is NOT the father of Hunter’s baby, why has he met with her three times in the last month or so according to the National Enquirer? Obviously the affair was not “ended in 2006” as Edwards AND Elizabeth have said.
Interestingly I believe she was born as Lisa Jo Druck and acquired the name “Hunter” from an ex husband
For now, the focus needs to be on Baron. This is the real story.
Really. Where did this money come from? Was Baron using his own funds or is it campaign funds? Possible violation of campaign finance laws? Nah, RATS wouldn't do that, now would they?
Who is paying taxes on this money? Are taxes being paid on this money?
Baron is also a fundraiser for Obama. This could get real interesing.
This is the real story and needs to be pursued. Baron is also helping Obama.
NM Gov Bill Richards, as US ambassador to UN, helped Clinton cover his mistressing by getting Monica Lewinski a “job” in NYC, and he’s about to get a job in the Obama adminstration- maybe even VP. This party has no shame, It thinks we the people have no memories.
The next interview I’d like to see in this story, is Mrs Andrew Young.

He asks Baron to move Young and Hunter to a 'far-away' place, very quietly.
Money is (or has already been transferred from Edwards 501c-3 accounts to the tune of $1.082 million to Barons buisness accounts.)
Young and Hunter moved to Santa Barbara, Calif into $4.3 million diggs.
Feces explodes last Friday afternoon.
Hunter and baby are now moved to undisclosed locality (at least I have not heard where they are as of this moment).
It looks like Edwards is using Baron as a conduit to commit fiduciary malfeasance, but I am not in full knowledge of all of the facts.
