To examine how the agendas differs let’s state the problem the people want the government to solve.
The problem is that America’s economy is dependent on foreign oil. The solution is then for America to become less dependent on foreign oil
The goal sought by Republicans is for America to become less dependent on foreign oil.
This is where it became apparent that Democrats have a different goal.
The goal sought by Democrats is for America to become less dependent on foreign oil.
I don’t find practical and economically feasible alternative sources of energy that would reduce America’s dependence on oil to satisfy the Democrat’s agenda. I do see practical and economically feasible ways to reduce America’s dependence on foreign oil to satisfy the Republican agenda.

This is not a problem for the government to solve, it is a problem the government has created.

How about Nuclear energy. It’s practical and feasible. France (normally ADORED by the democrats) gets 80% of it’s energy from Nuclear. But the Democrats don’t want us to build Nuclear plants. No...I think they have a different agenda...
Even if we had more nuclear energy, we would still need a way to power our cars, trucks, trains and planes.
While there is no greater supporter of nuclear than I (especially after next May), nuclear power won’t put much gas in the tank since most of our power is from coal of nukes now.
Far left envirowhacko’s have been allowed to set the democrat energy agenda. It is not just oil, coal and nukes they oppose. Clean hydro-electric is opposed just as fiercely by these people.
The Dems are missing so many words: Freedom. Intelligence. Civility. Patriotism.....where do you start?

Reid and Pelousey and Obama are puppets of the World, creating their niche to be part of the UN BOARD OF DIRECTORS.
Anything that smells of INDEPENDENCE and SOVERGNITY is a DIRTY WORD in the DEMORAT AGENDA of changing our perception of what PRESIDENT OF THE WORLD means to America.

The federal government is in YOUR gas tank SUCKING.. like a black hole sucking all the gas out and they are even in your local gas stations gasoline supply tanks SUCKING... The federal government just really SUCKS.. they are sucking money out of your wallet.. sucking Mexicans from across the border to take American jobs.. even the Presidential Candidates really suck.. Nafta sucks, Universal Health Care sucks, Muslims suck, Obama is a sucker, the Supreme Court sucks..
The democrats missing word is sucks.. Oh! and the democrat party completely SUCKS.. That great sucking sound you "should hear" is the democrat party.. They have sucked the life right out of the republican party..
They don't care if their alternative energies are unproven. Whatever becomes of the economy, it'll be theirs to control.

American’s use very little oil, the big users are the manufactures who make things to make plastic. Plastic is the elephant in the corner - all things with plastic in them use oil and lots of it. Take a second and look around you, count the things that are plastic...then ask how often do I change the oil in my car? More things in your car are made of plastic using more oil than you will use in the life of the car. If you use oil to heat your home, you use more oil than the fellow who uses solar, gas, coal, or wood. It is staggering how much plastic is in use today.
Glen Beck had a fascinating interview on CNN on Friday night with a former Exxon CEO.
The guy obviously knew what he was talking about.
He explained why the prices were so high for diesel and airplane fuel.
Each barrel of oil has different levels of crude that can only be used for certain types of fuel.
Only the higher grade crude can be used for diesel and airplane fuel.
We actually have on oversupply of car fuel, but the oil companies actually shifted their profit margins over to av-fuel and diesel to ease the price for low-grade gasoline (i.e. non-diesel auto gas).
So their margins are less on auto fuel, but higher on diesel and av-fuel.
As always there ain’t no such thing as a free lunch, we pay higher for air travel and diesel so most consumers can actually pay lower for normal gasoline in their cars.
He went on to explain how hydrogen and all of these alternative fuels are at least 10 years away under the best circumstances as a replacement for large scale deployment because of the slow pace of adoption and product cycle times of auto manufacturers.
Oil is simply the only realistic alternative for the next 20 years.

It’s more than just plastic. If you’re wearing a %100 cotton shirt right now, %80 of the cost of that shirt is oil related. There is no alternative to oil at present, and none on the horizon
