I’ve noticed the Aussies have already had it with “KRudd”,
‘Mr Rudd is nothing more or less then a “media queen” and this latest from him cements that critique of him. He believes he is the saviour of the world, thinks he has the answers to everything YET is shown to be totally bereft of anything to help his “working families”. I am surprised he didn’t jump into the conversation and tell both Mr Bush and Mr Putin he would fix the issue for them. and NOTE.....Mr Rudd admits to being some seats away from them yet is unable to intimately reveal what he believed they were talking about. has it occurred to Mr Rudd even those sitting next to Mr Bush and Mr Putin have revealed publicly any such rubbish??????? NO,they did the correct thing and have kept quiet,a solution i would suggest Mr Rudd pursue...’

I might suggest an analytical writing class, perhaps at community college. That might help you avoid nonsensical and/ or insulting statements that you then feel obliged to defend ... which, of course, leaves you looking like a first class twit.

I suggest you get your ass up off of your sofa and put down the crack pipe. You take this way too seriously. Try a hobby. Basket weaving sounds like a good way for you to start.

I’m well on record as saying the same thing. I’m so tired of gritting my teeth and casting a vote, but my country comes first.

Concentrating on electing the right folks to Congress is a good idea and has to be done, but in respect to foreign relations, it’s the face and will of the President that matter. Vlad Putin and the rest of them couldn’t give a rat’s rear end about Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid or any of the rest of them.

If we wish to survive in another Cold-War like time (I pray that’s all it is), we’ve got to have somebody who can at the very least play the game. Obama doesn’t have a clue or a prayer.

And if he’s elected, neither do you or I.

Thanks for the response. I totally agree in principle, but there’s too much at stake.

I am embarrassingly ignorant on this event, and haven't followed it since it started on Fri, and just now starting to study up.

Can you clue me in as to what started this? Did Russia invade initially or did Georgia do something first?

Thanks so much!

Still does. Incredible courage and fortitude. One of our greatest presidents. It’s wonderful to see him in Beijing, enjoying the Olympics.

The only drooling I’ve done about Bush 43 is over the recent photos of him with the US women’s volleyball team.

But I do think he will be regarded by history as one of our greatest presidents.

Russia has its own problems with Islamic Jihad. Remember the theatre bombing?

I get it. You took a shot and were called on it and you don't like that.

I DO take my American citizenship very seriously, you see, which is why I take exception to your comment.

The sofa "crack" was utterly hilarious since I haven't heard it before (much) and as for the crack pipe, that's also totally original ...

Of course, you've had ample opportunity to withdraw your comment and have chosen not to, which speaks volumes.

Whatever. You couldn’t ‘call’ anyone on anything if you had a cellphone with 10,000 minutes on it. You ‘take exception’, oh my. Alert the media, sofaman takes his citizenship seriously.

I wouldn’t be bragging these days if I were from Texas.

I would and I am.

Just one example--we've got Amnesty International all hacked off because we defied their BS, agenda-driven ruling about executing an illegal alien child-murdering scumbag last week.

Texas gave the finger to the International (Kangaroo) Court, preferring to abide by the state's OWN legislation instead.

I am DAMN proud of my state.

Home of Lyndon Johnson and GW Bush; the two largest big-government liberal spenders in US history.

Hasn’t Mexico annexed you guys yet?
