Democrats send AB 2567 to Governor Schwarzenegger

Sacramento, California – AUGUST 7 Campaign for Children and Families (CCF), a leading California organization protecting parents' rights and children's innocence, condemns the passage of AB 2567, which will instruct all California public schools to "conduct suitable commemorative exercises" in support of the anti-religious, sexual-anarchy agenda of the late San Francisco Supervisor Harvey Milk.

On Thursday, August 7, the California Assembly passed AB 2567 on a 43 to 26 vote, Democrats for, Republicans silently against. Earlier this week, AB 2567 passed the California State Senate on a 22-13 vote, Democrats for, Republicans against. AB 2567 now goes to Governor Schwarzenegger, whose position is unknown.

"If signed into law, AB 2567 will mean an official day commemorating homosexuality, bisexuality, and transsexuality in California government schools," said CCF President Randy Thomasson. "This will harm children as young as children as young as kindergarten.

If there was ever a time for the big one, earthquake,it might just happen now. Each day we are all suppose to be in Gods grace but for those who call evil good, are in trouble. Woe to those that call evil good and good evil. Isaiah 5-20

Did anyone bother to read AB2567 for themselves?

A teacher could spin Harvey Milks life anyway they chose, and they wouldn’t need this bill to do it. He is a historical figure and could be brought up in any history or civics class. Likewise his political and buisinbess accomplishments could also be brought up without ever mentioning that he was gay.

They just remove themselves from his grace and protection.

Remember Mark 9:42? "And if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone tied around his neck."

Sounds like punishment to me. Want to rethink that statement?

I don’t support the Bill it’s pure pandering.

But the exagerations in the original piece don’t do us any good either. Call it what it is.

Plus... They now have the CA Supreme Court's infamous and narrow decision using Pete's Wilson's appointees to embolden them to pass such a sucky bill!!!

Yes... "Gay Day" in Public Schools really sucks hard!!! As Justice Bork's book title says... "Slouching to Gamorah!"

He won't. Red Arnold is an unabashed supporter of the gay agenda. He not only signed SB 777 and AB 394 into law, he's on record as opposing Proposition 8. So he will sign SB 2567 into law as well. I expect things to continue to go downhill in California public education.
