have been wondering why a non Christian Jew, Eric Cantor, is getting a push from those who will not accept Mitt Romney as a candidate
______________________________________________

Maybe because Congressman Eric Cantor has many years experience in the public sector, while Romney only has a couple of years as a gov...

Cantor is pro-life, while Romney is an abortion pusher ???

Cantor is conservative and RINO Romney leans left ????

Cantor is young, while long in the tooth Romney is old enough to be his father ???

Cantor is good to look at while Romney is hagged and wrinkled..like an aged matinee idol...

Cantor is consistant, while Romney changes his mind with his socks and the weather...

Cantor has integrity, Romnbey has $250 Million...

Cantor’s base are Americans and act decent, while Romneybots are abusive and nasty bullies and namecalling thugs and keep trying to shove that liberal down our throats...and have turned most FReepers off..

Cantor is a man, while Romney is just a “victim”

Pick any of the above...

Sounds like Mountainfolk is playing the persecution card.

While Jews aren't Christian, they certainly don't demand that Christians accept their late desire to be called such, and I haven't seen the Jews send out thousands yearly to proslytize and tell Christians that their religion is false and "of the devil".

"With a regard to true theology, a more ignorant people never lived than the present so-called Christian world."
- Prophet Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, v. 8, p. 199

Evangelicals are free to vote their conscience regardless of the Mitt supporters who want to cast them as bigots. Don't forget the lockstep mormons voting 90% for Romney, and we're told THAT isn't bigotry.

A very silly post. The Republican party cannot have, and does not need to have, a religious litmus test for candidates. You know how it goes, first they came for the whoever, and then for the next whoever, etc. Mormons have the King James bible next to their Book of Mormon at the Temple visitor center I toured recently in St. George, Utah. There was also a Gideon bible along with a Book of Mormon at the motel room. I am Catholic and find much to admire about the Mormon people and their accomplishments as well as their steadfast adherence to their faith. Christians mocking other Christians is not a pretty sight.
