Meanwhile, a lawyer for Jesus Ortiz, a man who may be the late father of the missing child, told FOX News that Casey Anthony and Ortiz went to high school together, and that the young man's family is shocked by the news that their son may be the father. Ortiz died in a car accident about a year ago.

"The family has never heard of her," the lawyer, Bryan Crews said, adding, "Had he been the father of the child, they certainly would have known."
Detectives have told FOX News that they are looking into the possibility that Casey Anthony, 22, impersonated the baby sitter who she says took Caylee. She may have signed the sitter's name during a visit to an apartment complex and written in a visit date within the time frame of the child's disappearance.

This is such an awful story. I’ve been following it in the news. What a beautiful child. I don’t even think any babysitter existed. I hope someone is held accountable for this. If the Grandmom didn’t report it, Lord knows when anyone would have found out she was missing.

The picture I saw of this guy is he is VERY DARK SKINNED. There's now way that's his daughter. Nor is there ANY resemblance to him. She doesn't look like the mother much either. Bet ya she looks like the father but Jesus is not him. She most definitely doesn't have a dark skinned father.
I can’t help but feel that the grandparents know the truth about what happened and are delaying, misinforming, lying as much as they can hoping that this case will die.
They should have to pay the taxpayers back every cent for this search farce.

I bet she left her in a hot car while partying. Came out and saw the girl dead. Hid her in the trunk. Drove home. Burried her in the backyard. Sobered up and then dug her up and tossed her into a dumpster somewhere. Casy knows exactly what happened to her daughter. Grandma knows too ... .

She made it up so people feel sorry for her and NOBLE for not “burdening” the family of the guy she shacked up with for a night. She preys on males. She wants males to pay her way. Some will.

The grandma says they always remove the ladder when not in use so Caylee couldn’t get in the pool.
Funny thing was, they came home one day back in June, at least that is how I understood it, and that ladder was taken out of the shed and back on the pool.
She did not know who put it there.
I believe she really does, but of course her daughter probably denies it.

In the Perterson situation atleast they had a torso and proved it was his wife. Crimcumstances did him in.
THis one lies so much and NO BODY makes it tougher. It doesn’t sound like the evidence they have is enough to charge her with any form of murder. Her plea for IMMUNITY tells me she KNOWS what happened.
exactly...there is very little "evidence" and even if they find the babys' dna in the trunk, it could be argued that she played in their, maybe peed her pants....
the "mother" will get a minimum sentence for "losing" her child....since she has no record, she might not even get any sentence....
I wish it wasn't so, but thats' the way things are shaping up.....either she cracks or they find the body....
