Is she in the New Jersey area? ;-)

BTW: You realize that your screen name is the same as the most notorious "gentleman's club" in New Jersey.

No, she is in the Pacific Northwest.

My screen name comes from the tiny porcelain and silk satin clad models I use to create paintings of dolls.

I am in mourning when I left Detroit in 72 most of it was still intact.

It reminds one of the boiled Frog in cold water he, is not aware until after the damage is done.

My heart is wrench after what happen to Detroit and Michigan.

http://detroityes.com/toc.htm

I could howl in pain for days of all the destruction and decay and the great edifice that once stood and should have endured.

Very few seem to mourn with me America for this too is the hand writing on the wall for much of America in waiting should we not get rid of the plague of a Pelosi, Reid, Obama or anything that resembles it etc.

Communism does not build or preserve, it destroys and erase.

When I was a child those noble building grabbed my soul and I can’t explain why but I felt it so strong when I was a wee one!

Many of these places were build like the Rock of Gibraltar it is now gone because those who desire to control were the gamers, double talkers, PC crowd, mixed in with the Socialist, Unions.

Their contempt for the blood, sweat, and tears of the inventors, risk takers, producers the visionaries now labels as Capital Pigs.

It is not a few of these noble buildings gone it is a ghost towm they tried to blame it on shopping mall that is a joke it was lack of money to support Detroit Art and the communites after the

BTW I lived through that I lived behind JL Hudson and watch the troops guard that Build all for what when in few decades it was terminated.

Hudson’s, or The J.L. Hudson Company, was a major retail department store chain based in Detroit. Hudson’s flagship store, on Woodward Avenue in downtown Detroit (demolished October 24, 1998),[1] was the tallest department store in the world as of 1961,[2] and, at one time, claimed to be the second largest department store (next to Macy’s) in the United States, in terms of square footage.

That was rise of the I am going to get mine crowd, no matter the cost combined with the gutting of the “Goose that laid the Golden Eggs “Auto Industry” which not only supported Michigan but many other states around who too were suppliers on some level!

There is a concerted effort to dismantle America economy engine forcing the US to be under the umbrella of the New World Order.

They want to do the same with the Oil Industry

I am moving back to Michigan on my way 6:30 Am Aug 7, 2008

“ations such as the US, Britain, Germany, France, etc, became rich in the Industrial Age by converting their natural resources into salable products and marketing those products to the other nations of the world. Now those “other” nations produce most of those same products at lower prices and sell them to the formerly industrialized nations whose wealth is rapidly being transferred to their former customers.’

Your statement is partly correct. What’s missing is the eco-fascists who have, through regulation, Marxist judges and filthy left-wing politicians, outlawed America from tapping its enormous resources.

Drill here, drill now is our most potent slogan.

There is no greater danger to our republic than the idiot soccer mom who sends $25 to the Nazis at the Sierra Club every month. She’s the poster child for the suspension of the 19th amendment, for at least a generation.

Doing that will allow us the time to peaceably march through the various institutions and remove the various Nazis, communists and socialists, via the ballot box, that idiot females have cemented into various offices.

Women, especially the women under 30 years of age, will steal your liberty, money and freedom for their security.

The Founders had it right - no vote for women.

America's Fastest-Dying Cities

If it was about the fastest drying cities, Phoenix would be at the top because it's a dry heat.

Good luck.

I know how you feel about change no always being for the better. In my case it seems sort of backward.

When I was a small girl my folks lived at a secluded beach in southern California. There were little fishing shacks, modest homes, and rustic vacation houses used by the summer crowd. We kids had that pristine beach to ourselves most of the year. It even had grass-topped sand dunes and sandpipers running about the beach, something rarely seen in southern California outside of wildlife refuges.

Today the sandpipers are gone; it is all multi-million dollar homes and a marina for yachts.

“It’s difficult to commute to work when your job has been “Free Traded” to Mexico, India or China.”

Yeah, that full employment rate of 94.5% is tearing this nation apart.

The lack of an accessible lakefront is embarrassing (it was also a mistake to put Browns Stadium on the waterfront).

The lakefront in Cleveland is arguably the most valuable piece of property between NY and Chicago, and on it is a football stadium used ten times a year, an airport used primarily by corporate planes, and a lot of vacant warehouses. Of course, having I-90 running right by the lake cuts off the rest of the city from lake access.
