(BILOXI, Miss.) Aug. 4 - Mississippi Congressman Gene Taylor told NBC 15 News he doesn't have time to look into our investigation into whether or not tax dollars are being wasted on Hurricane Katrina victims unwilling to look for work. (video at link)

I’ll give him credit for that vote...but his unwillingness to look into this issue is bothersome, to say the least.

He still had his lips firmly planted on Pelosi's ass when the reporter confronted them and Queen Nancy tried to defend the fact that there are still Katrina "victims" living in beach hotels with maid service and catered meals nearly THREE YEARS after the storm.

Getting handouts without having to work is one of the fundamental pillars of the Dem political machine. Talyor questioning that would be like the Pope questioning whether God exits.

I never trusted him and certainly never voted for him. He votes the way this conservative area expects him too, but through the years he has become increasingly liberal.

Sounds like he wasn't interested in looking into NBC's information. I suspect that if the information were coming from FEMA in their reports he'd pay attention. Problem is, FEMA wasn't getting the info, because these layabouts didn't have case workers who were reporting to FEMA about them.

I'm glad NBC is doing the investigation, and I hope they will take Gene Taylor's suggestion and send everything they find to FEMA, as well as make it public. At that point, it can't be ignored by ANY of the players.
