Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's lead in Massachusetts has plummeted 14 percentage points since June, a new Suffolk University-7 news poll shows.
Mr. Obama leads Republican John McCain 47 percent to 38, down from a 23 point spread in June, and is bleeding support from male voters, independents and older voters.

if al obama can’t muster a humongous lead in demostan,
then he’s likely to be defeated.

This is pretty amazing news. I wonder what’s responsible for it and if it means anything?

I worried that if his polls go to low, to early, that the dems will push to put the beast on the ticket.
I’ve been wondering if they are sandbaging on purpose leading up to the convention to orchestrate this all.

Do not let our guard down!!!!!! This might be psychological warfare from their comrades in arms: the drive-by media into making the McCain side, over-confident? Just a theory, but then I would not put anything past these scoundrels. Oh dear, if he is slowly tanking or bleeding in the Peoples Republic Of Massachusetts that certainly spells trouble on the horizon for him. I need proof from the ground, proof from the ground!!!!!!/Just Asking - seoul62........

To any Mass GOP’er,
Correct me if I am wrong here, but I believe that I read somewhere the largest political party in Mass is “Independent” !
If so, then this is where McCain “maverick” reputation is likely to have some appeal.
Also don't the Mass voter have the example of “Obama Lite” their governor, Deval Patrick as sterling example of what the “Obama Nation” might be like?

Even if Obama does get replaced by Hillary it would tear that party apart, and the result would be the same, defeat in November.

Does Hawaii still count after they dropped the bomb on Pearl Harbor? That was Germany what dropped that there bomb and Obama is polling very well in Germany, the rest of Europe as well. He is just overwhelmingly ahead in the mooselimb countries.

I think this election right now is on the verge of a pivotal shift. Obama’s popularity is coming into focus and some of the tentative voters are now feeling ok to go against the grain (the ones that lie to the pollster previously). B’OF said McCain is running ads up there too (and forcing Obama to as well).
