Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's lead in Massachusetts has plummeted 14 percentage points since June, a new Suffolk University-7 news poll shows.
Mr. Obama leads Republican John McCain 47 percent to 38, down from a 23 point spread in June, and is bleeding support from male voters, independents and older voters.

We could be teetering on the edge of a total collapse in Obama’s polling.
McCain’s already outpacing Bush’s final 2000 and 2004 numbers with 13% still undecided. Add in the Bradley Effect and McCain may end up with 45% here and a stunning upset.
Ping
Obama is in deep dodo if he is losing Liberalville Mass.
What ever he is doing—he better change or it will be a major loss for the Dimmycrats (He he).
I’d say whatever he’s doing he should keep at it!!
I wouldn’t suggest though that he’ll lose this state, but it is MUCH closer than it needs to be for Obama to win nationally.
Maybe he put air in his tires.
Wow, if Obama loses MA, can CA be far behind?
The simple truth is that Obama is the weakest, least qualified candidate the Dims could have chosen. Geraldine Ferraro is right - if B.O. weren’t black he would never have made it. It remains to be seen whether a majority of the electorate will risk putting the country into the hands of this con man.
Correction-Maybe he can put air in his tires.
(posting too fast syndrome)
Yeeeaaahhhhh....we are all just a bunch of racists up here for not wanting to vote for The Obamessiah.
Jeez...when a candidate with zero accomplishment, zero experience and zero ability to form a coherent sentence without at teleprompter loses his 23 point lead in a state like this...heck...it HAS to be racism.
RIght?
Right?
I still don’t think he will lose MA but it’s not a good sign for him to fall 14 points into single digit range. The election is shifting.
I’ve never been proud of my state my whole adult life until now... (just kidding!)
Pay no attention to the woman in the pantsuit behind the curtain!
Amen to that!
I’m so glad Obama started campaigning as long ago as he did because his campaign would not have had time to unravel if he’d waited. IMO the longer he campaigns he more ground he’ll lost because he’s lost his credibility.
But he could lose the other 56 states
The people voting the guy in doesn’t worry me the voter fraud does. The are now encouraging absentee votes
Either way, the DNC has put two Saul Alinsky wannabees
