I’ve never been a McCain supporter, but with each passing day he appears to be the more rational and qualified candidate for President... despite his political flaws.
To: SpaceBar
McCain's not good enough to be dog catcher let alone to be President.

Norquist organized a weekly meeting back in the ‘90s. It was supposed to be a who’s who of ‘conservative’ movers and shakers in DC. Of course it allowed him to act as gatekeeper and freeze out any agenda he disapproved of, one of which happened to be addressing the problem of illegal immigration. Norquist is a major amnesty pusher and has been for years.

Rush was never interested in doing anything about illegal immigration until it became painfully obvious that he had missed one of the larger grassroots movements in the last decade. At that point he was waddling as fast as he could yelling wait! wait! Im your leader....
I can vouch for that, having listened to Rush at that time, and having heard a few callers take him to task on that issue. Naturally, Limbaugh dismissed them as kooks and cited the gravitas of September 11th, if even in 2005.
Patriotism is not Mr. Limbaugh's vocation.

“with each passing day”
Dammit, you’ve been reading my mind. Are we getting sweet talked or does he mean it? “battered conservative syndrome”? We keep going back?

So when you go to the polls you will have the choice between dog catcher I, or Marx II. Take your pick.

Don't be so mean, DC, this is a 'new' troll, welcome troll......

I’ll be voting for Chuck Baldwin.

But I understand your opinion about McCain and know where you’re coming from. Make no mistake about that.

Yep. He has always been a liberal neocon (but I repeat myself) that has talked tough when it comes to taxes and such, like so many party-line libertarians, but has no sense of traditional American conservatism.
Of course, don't a lot of amnesty pushers hide under the skirt of "conservatism?" ;)

I’ve been seeing a number of op-ed type articles by Chuck Baldwin. I’ll give it some consideration.

Me, mean? I sing “kumbaya” every day and hug the homeless and wear my obama t-shirt in my limosine.

My radio had a knob that turns to Hugh Hewett not the factually challanged Weiner.
To: Das Outsider
He did wet himself. A gnostic hymn to the nation state as conquering messiah, it’s right down his alley.

So tell me gramps, are you also an ex-Savage listener like most of the Savage haters seem to be?
To: Mike Darancette
Savage ain’t everyone’s cup of tea, I realize that. He can be extremely abrasive at times, but overall he speaks the truth. Let us be.
To: Mike Darancette
Hewitt’s ok.
Heck, I listen to ‘em all, except Medved, the pro illegal fool. (Glenn Beck is very good, radio or TV.)
