Yes, wait until the reserves are drained, then launch the attacks that shut down the Strait of Hormuz, Nigerian offshore wells, Iraqi pipelines and Saudi ports. Chavez follows suit with the simultaneous shutting off of Venezuelan oil.............

Yes, the SOR is for a situation where no imported oil is available for an extended period of time, due to war, embargo or whatever reasons. It is supposed to run the country on bare minimum for about six months.................

This was originally a Pelosi idea. Deplete our strategic reserve, right. How anyone can figure that will help but drilling for billions of barrels won’t is beyond me. He is getting increasingly desperate, his polls tanked again today and for the first time(rasmussan)he is behind McCain by 1 point. His internals must really look bad!
