Duh!! Who's he?

“”Edwards has taken principled stands opposing the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy, protecting a womans right to choose, favoring a comprehensive immigration reform plan gives undocumented immigrants the opportunity to earn citizenship, and leading the fight to protect church-state separation from incursions by the Bush Administration. Congressman Edwards has also been recognized for his innovative, cooperative approaches to protecting private property rights and the environment.””
Your typical left wing loon it appears...

Maybe she thinks that Obama will carry Texas if he does.
It must be something in the San Francisco water or an overdose of Botox.

Obama needs to dissociate himself from Pelosi.
She carries the stench (and poor polling numbers) of the Democrat House of Representatives.
He has enough problems in the polls already.

Edwards is a leftie who just happens to represent President Bushes’ home district. Its would be symbolic choice designed to try and embarass the President.
Edwards has really nothing to recommend him, except as a dig to Bush and another pander to those in the Democrat party with Bush Derangement Syndrome.
To: libstripper
Please Obama, listen to Nancy!

If Pelosi backs him, he is more a horses ass than a dark horse.

"a dig to Bush and another pander to those in the Democrat party with Bush Derangement Syndrome."Like they would pull the lever for anyone besides Baraq anyway. Nanci must want someone she has some pull with, perhaps this guy is beholden to her for something.

Since 1952, I have observed that, with the partial exception of the Clinton years, the Demo formula for a presidential ticket has been the combo of a Northern egghead and a Southern jackass.

Dark Horse ??!
The "Associatged Press" should be ashamed of their racist attack!

Chet represents Waco and runs as a conservative Democrat. The problem with nominating a guy like Edwards is that the Republicans can link him to Obama and Pelosi. He would have to go far left and lose what makes him electable in Texas.

Duh!! Who's he? A Blue Dog Democrat, probably a thorn in her side, and someone she most likely sees as a threat to her leadership. Why else would she be trying to get rid of him?
To: capt. norm
Obama needs to dissociate himself from Pelosi. Au contraire. He needs to tie himself to every anchor in the Democrat fleet.

I'm guessin' it's the dark horse she rides to work everyday to "save the planet", instead of driving her SUV.
