If this were actually a true and accurate report, I would say this is How Not To Get Elected President As A GOP Candidate 101, but I already know that McCain is for drilling.

McCain needs to start supporting drilling in ANWR and see how long it takes Obama to adopt his position.More proof that McCain needs to convince liberals and moderates to move to the right with well-defined conservative ideas rather than accepting liberalism in order to get moderate votes.

There is something very strange going on with this gang of ten compromise on drilling. It doesnt really open up off shore drilling, it simply suggests the possibility, while concentrating on alternative sources, and Lindsey Graham supports it.Good point. I'd rather this bill did not get passed and wait for the real thing later on if need be. Let it fester, because in the mean time, the Democrats will be reeling from the fact that the American people know that they are not for the people's demand to drill.

Someone needs to call them on what exactly, “limited off shore drilling” means. I think we already have “limited off shore drilling.
