Speaker Nancy Pelosi Kicks Off Book Tour

California Democrat Nancy Pelosi, the first woman speaker of the House, will promote her upcoming book, “Know Your Power: A Message to America’s Daughters” in three television appearances Monday: NBC’s “Today”, ABC’s “The View” and Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.”

Something to watch for: will the ladies of the “The View” be able to keep it clean? During a 2007 Pelosi appearance on the program, Barbara Walters and Whoopi Goldberg fawned over Paul Pelosi, the speaker’s husband, who was sitting in the audience. The banter between the two hosts got a bit bawdy with the well-mannered Pelosi.

Hey, I was just reading some of the reviews and it looks like Amazon has deleted over 200 of the really negative ones, while letting the moonbats get through with their 5-Star ratings. Amazon is in the tank for the libs as well! A LOT of ticked off reviewers over there who had their comments scrubbed.

What I find interesting is that all of the “early” reviews of her book were one star (25 reviews) and then all of a sudden there's a few (8) five star reviews...nothing in between. This is very suspect. My guess is that Queen Nancy was embarrassed by the “real” reviews and had some of her friends submit the better reviews. The fact that she could only muster 8 good reviews says volumes about the number of friends she has.

Can you believe the nerve of this woman? She puts her full body photo on the front cover of her book. What does that tell you? I guess she is pretty and thin but isn’t she going to look ridiculous promoting her book while Americans are suffering? Huh?

I don’t need to “review” her book to know what it is . . . baloney and fluff. Like I said, major barf alert!!

But her timing for this book tour after just having shut down the Congress while they were debating the gas crisis and going off on a five-week paid vacation so she can promote her book!! Will the people really stand for it?

Amazon is run by a bunch of effete latte-sucking liberals in Seattle who are in the tank for Nancy, and in the tank for her publisher; but mostly they are in the tank for their own profits. Of course, they love Nancy's politics, but more importantly they want to sell millions of copies of her unreadable, self-serving memoir. So when when Amazon reviewers trash Nancy and her crummy book, Amazon comes to her rescue. Not only did Amazon delete some 200 negative reviews, they also boosted Nancy's star rating from one star to two. The only thing more pathetic than the semi-literate pablum spewed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives is the grotesque amd clumsy attempt by Amazon to censor the overwhelming numbers of reviewers who did nothing more than state the obvious.

Sadly, this won't be the experience for Queen Nancy, simply because of who she is. However, I'll bet you'll start seeing a lot of signed copies of her book an eBay as people try to make a buck from selling them. (I'll wager few will bother to read it.) With mostly one-star reviews, the book represents an unnecessary denuding on the nation's forests.
