Obama Drinks Organic Tea

The Senator's Beverage Preference Gives McCain Camp Some Ammo - No, Really

You'd think McCain's camp would be busy worrying about offshore oil drilling or the facial growth he had removed at the Mayo Clinic. But Team McCain couldn't pass up the opportunity to slam Barack Obama for drinking organic tea.

Are you kidding me?

As Ecorazzi asked: Does anyone smell desperation in the air?

The Times Online reports McCain's team accused Obama yesterday of playing the race card. Meanwhile, the presumptive Republican presidential candidate is running ads portraying Obama as a vapid celebrity comparable to Britney Spears. (Harvard Law School, anyone?)

The article says that in a memo after the commercial, Rick Davis, Mr McCain’s campaign manager, wrote: “Only celebrities like Barack Obama…demand bottles of an organic brew - Black Forest Berry Honest Tea."

At a rally yesterday, Obama responded, “I do have to ask my opponent - is that the best you can come up with? Is that what is worthy of the American people?"

Ecorazzi wonders if McCain would like to comment on his $520 Italian leather loafers.

People with politically-correct personal habits deserve to be ridiculed........especially if they are running for President.

Libs coming unglued as McCain dims messianic aura by poking fun at Obama.

I wonder what he’d do with a good mug of NCO-brewed coffee?

He’d probably have an episode...

Obama prefers Grey Poupon mustard and has to be reminded NOT to ask for it! Read it in a book about him....

What isn’t organic about any other tea?

I’m more interested why anyone needs $500+ shoes (unless there’s some medical reason).

How can anyone drink tea? Every time I’ve ever had tea its tasted like hot lightly scented water. Coffee stronger than irish woman’s thighs now that’s a man’s drink.

But isn’t he the Messiah, the one we heard about from the Germans? Did he not do great feats and miracles? But, nay, he was not present and, when present, voted “Present”. No bill came forth from his rhetoric. While refuting the fallacies of the surge, he refused comfort to the afflicted. Indeed, he flipped the flop of an energy plan. And so they crucified him and nailed him to the truth of his ways.

We want to know the guy...and that is part of it. If McCain liked to drink 14 cups of coffee everyday that would be big news.
Now I want to know..does Osbama drink Lake Michigan water or bottled?

This is such fun. McCain has a sense of humor and everyone thought he was an old grump! Keep it up Senator McCain, I’ll send Bambi a box of Kleenex to wipe his teary eye and snotty nose.

I’m a tea drinker, and I happen to like good tea, but I prefer to brew it myself. Why would you want to pay ten times as much to drink stale tea out of a bottle?

Unless you and your wife have a combined salary of $500,000 a year and can’t be bothered with the demeaning task of putting a kettle on the stove. But then you probably have a cook to do it for you.

McCain dropped a few turds in Obama’s punchbowl, but he needs to chill out on that and let those turds mature.

McCain better not let Obama turn himself into Obama. (Low class, stupid, and/or cheap shots, etc).

Organic?

Is there any tea that's not?

Plastic tea? Metal tea?

Well, it’s good to know democrats understand that having a tea party is worthwhile.

Somebody get me some of that...

TEXAS TEA. (Aug 1st Vintage).

Contact the DC House storage locker. I understand it’s temperature and light-controlled to keep it fresh.

I don’t give a damn what tea Obama drinks or how much McCain’s shoes cost so long as they each pay for them out their own pockets.

If they can’t make due when their preferred brands/flavors/styles are not available, and start behaving like vapid celebrity prima donnas, then I’ll care.
