Who Really Won the Senate in 2006?
vanity | 8/2/08

According to latest news, only 15.5% of US voters in overseas locations requested a ballot for the 2006 election, and only 1/3 of those voted. Pardon while I laugh. The Army Times Publishing Company has surveyed military members and the military votes Republican at a rate of 69 - 85%. There were 600,000 military personnel stationed overseas in 2006. It seems a safe bet that had the true military vote count been tallied, the Dems would not have squeeked-by with "wins" in MT, VA, and several other states. In other words, the Dems probably took the Senate through disenfranchising the military vote. Who can forget -- or forgive -- the vile All Gore's attempt to rule invalid FL military votes in 2000? Cheating the military of its votes is as central to Dem "victories" as is Chicago's bald-faced vote creation to ensure Dem "victories."

In as tight a contest as the Obama-McCain race is reported to be, how might the military vote this year be protected and counted? Frankly, between the Bradley Effect and the media cheering section's efforts, Obama is probably actually 5-8% behind McCain at this point and as more is learned about Obama, the wider the margin is likely to become. Nonetheless, put nothing past the dems to steal this election.

Don’t let them vote. When you go to Iraq, then Germany, don’t visit the wounded. Then say, “I support the troops, I just oppose the war.”

Election fraud is one of the biggest issues that isn’t covered like a big issue.

God only knows what goes on in little podunk towns across america right along with certain precincts in big cities. And the local races are probably much worse...because no one pays much attention.

“God only knows what goes on in little podunk towns across america right along with certain precincts in big cities.”

Three weeks ago I was on a church mission trip to small town in Mississippi; 98% black. In the town hall, they still had the election machine printouts from the March 31 Mississippi primary posted on the wall. Total # of votes cast? Zero. Not one, per the posted machine results. Supposedly, not even the poll clerks who signed the results cast ballots. I find it hard to believe they sat there all day and didn’t bother to vote. I’m still not sure what to make of this; perhaps there is a second printout with different information filed with the county election board. I don’t know.

This very topic was brought up after the 2000 election.
The other problem that blossomed from this was the bags
with the absentee military votes that just happened to be
found, AFTER the votes were registered. We never got to see
what the tally would have been if those were made public. I
don't think ol’ alGore would have been so quick to call himself
the real winner of the Florida election debacle.

The Dems have successfully built roadblocks for the military
voters, for many elections, knowing which way they tend to
lean. I've been emailing my representatives, and senators
since the 2000 hanging chad crap, but it only seems to create
a fuss after the votes are counted and the dems have taken
a majority in both branches by very slim margins.

They (the elected officials) don't seem to want to prevent
and potential problems, rather they would create policy by crisis.

For what it’s worth:
Fox News wants stories about voter fraud. They have an email address of:
voterfraud@foxnews.com
for that purpose.

If the national GOP does not put every resource they have on preventing vote fraud (much of it by absentee ballot), then they deserve to lose. (not really, but....)

Absentee ballots are increasingly used by Democrats mostly (inner city and elsewhere) to stuff ballot boxes. Dem city councils and Dem leaders have made it so easy to get and file an absentee ballot, that my dog and guinea pig could vote.... and get away with it.

After all, no one actually checks to see if the person voting is authentic, or if they even wanted to vote.

People in inner cities are encouraged to get an absentee ballot for “every adult in the house”.... aunts, uncles, grandma’s, cousins, etc. — and to fill them out voting for the Democrat.

The Democrat poll workers are never gonna check. Plus, what family member is gonna turn in another family member ... even if they discovered that someone voted in their name?

Seriously, if the RNC does not put every lawyer and resource at its disposal on this absentee ballot fraud, the GOP will continue to lose.

All the votes must be counted!

Unless they are military, Republican or in support of off-shore drilling.

Election fraud is one of the biggest issues that isn’t covered like a big issue.

I think it's the biggest issue after terrorism. If we lose an honest vote in this country (as we already have in some big cities), we lose everything else.

The Republicans are partly to blame for this, though. They KNOW the extent of vote fraud among Democrats and yet they hardly make a peep. They are participating in their own extinction.

This is an issue that should have been hit hard over the past eight years. Gore and Kerry wouldn't have come so dangerously close to winning if vote fraud wasn't such a pervasive issue.

Many precincts rely on the "honor system" in which a Republican poll watcher and a Democrat poll watcher are supposed to keep things "honest".

Just think how easy it is (in big cities and heavy Democratic-union districts) for the Democrats to simply get someone (a Democrat) to apply for the Republican watcher spot .... and thus you would essentially have two Democrats watching each other.

I have been a poll worker volunteer many times, and believe me it is easy as pie to defraud the system.

Some precincts in Philadelphia (heavy union) don't even have any Republicans to keep an eye on the Democrat poll workers.

No wonder the city votes 84% Democrat every election.

I remember hearing about piles of mail-in ballots found in a dumpster in Florida in 2000 -- dumped by a postal worker and mailed from a Republican district. Since hearing about that, I've never voted by mail-in ballot.

For the record it was this man that led the effort to disenfranchise the military vote in Florida.

Governor Rendell of Pennsylvania

Some other Freepers may remember him as the Mayor (mobster) that had union thugs beat them during a Freep in filthdelphia. The Democratic party is nothing more than an organized crime family. Keep your powder dry.

There are stories regarding the 2000 nightmare that
would make you scream. I've heard of people from
New York that have been voting in both states for years.

The story line is always the same, Palm Beach, Broward, or Dade county.
It's always the same down there and no one seems to give a hoot.

I hate LIBS and all the bullchips they bring with them...

1. What is your source? 2. How many US voters are there in overseas locations?

Pardon while I laugh. The Army Times Publishing Company has surveyed military members and the military votes Republican at a rate of 69 - 85%.

Probably right, but if you have a source for that, I would appreciate it.

There were 600,000 military personnel stationed overseas in 2006.

Sounds very high to me. The wiki page for Military of the United States puts it at about 325K overseas in 2007.

It seems a safe bet that had the true military vote count been tallied,

Not at all, unless we see the supporting data.

the Dems would not have squeeked-by with "wins" in MT, VA, and several other states.

What was the margin of victory in those states? What percentage of the military reside in those states?

In other words, the Dems probably took the Senate through disenfranchising the military vote.

Any idea how they did it?

Who can forget -- or forgive -- the vile All Gore's attempt to rule invalid FL military votes in 2000? Cheating the military of its votes is as central to Dem "victories" as is Chicago's bald-faced vote creation to ensure Dem "victories."

Yup. Did they do the same tactics in 2006?

In as tight a contest as the Obama-McCain race is reported to be, how might the military vote this year be protected and counted?

Dunno.

Frankly, between the Bradley Effect and the media cheering section's efforts, Obama is probably actually 5-8% behind McCain at this point

What? First, I don't know what the Bradley effect is, but more importantly, WHY Obama is ahead doesn't take away from the fact that he is ahead. How can you possibly jump to the conclusion that "McCain is actually ahead"?

and as more is learned about Obama, the wider the margin is likely to become. Nonetheless, put nothing past the dems to steal this election.

I criticized your post not because it is bad, but because it could be excellent. With good sources and snooping around, you could clean up your argument and maybe make a good case that overseas votes MAY be getting undercounted, and thus cause the GOP to focus a lot of effort protecting them this year. Go for it!

Liberal Jim Webb did not win Virginia because of vote fraud. Virginia has transformed from a "Red state" to a "Blue state". He defeated a good and true conservative George Allen for pete's sake.

That is why liberal Mark Warner will win a seat in the Senate this November. Republican Jim Gilmore is way behind in the polls and is not well liked.

Add to that, several House seats are seriously challenged in several districts to going liberal as well due to an influx of northern liberals moving down from states like NY, NJ, MN, WI & MI to name a few.

Pennsylvania went first, then Virginia and North Carolina is getting there by the looks of things.
