It is with great sadness I tell you our Freeper YaYa123 passed away during the night.
I saw this announcement for the first time while at work today.
Am so sorry to learn of YaYa’s leaving us - leaving her beloved family and friends and many Freeper friends. Of course, as she has already seen her Lord Jesus face to face —— what joy she has already experienced!
But I want to express sincere sympathies and condolences to her family and friends.
America has lost (another) true Patriot in the very best sense of that word - but heaven has gained one of its citizens up there....and how much fun I know she must be having there!
I too am very glad to have been able to read comments from you, CAL, and so many others who were at the March for Justice....a memory that while 10 years old this fall...is still bright and fresh. So glad to see you post here again.
YaYa123 ALWAYS had the best posts, they - she - kept me grounded when things seemed their darkest sometimes. I would say to myself - well there’s Yaya making such good sense again.
What a smart, informed, cheerful conservative she was and her presence blessed Free Republic all these years.. (no doubt infuriating the Clintonistas who lurked here in 98 and who lurk here still....)
As others have said - we have lost so many it seems - especially lately - Ladyinred and now Yaya.
One thing we know - God, our Father, is very present in our times of trouble, He is very close especially to the brokenhearted, and He sent His Son Jesus specifically (one role) to bind up the brokenhearted.
We miss so many who have left - but I hear Him saying....there are many still here - faithful ones who are still needed to fight the good fight ahead....strengthen that which remains.
And it is our Lord God who goes before us in the battle - let’s follow and fight on! In Yaya’s and Ladyinred’s memories, especially.
Thanks, Suzanne, for letting me know about Linda. I had been notified earlier, but I appreciated your email. She was a dear friend and I will miss her so very much. My heartfelt sympathy to her husband, her two wonderful daughters and the grandchildren.
Sincerely, Juanita Broaddrick
Thank you Juanita Broddrick for posting your condolences to our FRiend. She was one of many posters on this site who supported you and would be touched by your kind words.
Im with Brit Hume in wondering why the president herself is answering the WH phones at 3 am or any time.
My husband thinks Hillary would have to suspend belief that any call at 3 am wasnt about bimbos.
Me? Im still LOL that its taken Hillary till now to just getting warmed up on the campaign. If her fuse is that long, any 3 am call will come too late.
Thanks for that link to the 2006 thread in order to read the comments there - esp by our YaYa123.
Sorry didn’t get to be on those threads...usually at workaday work.
Glad to know some faithful Freepers were / are monitoring the daily talk shows (this continues?)
I know there is a Rush thread and a Mark Levin thread...at least.
Just think, dear Linda is there in heaven knowing EXACTLY the FACTS, the TRUTHs about what is happening down here....that we who still look through the mirror darkly only suspect....
To Juanita:
Thank you for your post and for your stand against the Clinton machine. God bless you. Hope you are well.
We will continue to pray and work to see to it that they do not rear their ugliness into prominence again....but if they try it, God willing, there will be more brave souls such as yourself - former victims of theirs - who will stand up and say - No you don’t, you thugs.
Really shocked to read this very sad news! A truly class act! Her intelligence was only matched by her undeniable love of this great country! I really enjoyed her posts.
Man... what a year.
God rest our dear Linda, and bring her family peace. Reading these tributes, I remember her with joy...
I might have met her once. Rest in Peace, Linda.
Saying prayers.

Prayers up for YaYa123 and her friends and family.
Answer to your FReep Mail.
Sincere condolences to Linda’s family and friends. She was one of the great FReepers! God rest her soul.
Man. I just logged in after a long absence to find this. What a loss for all of us. She was a great gal and a true pal. I’ll be she and OldAtlanta are cookin’ up something upstairs!
Prayers for her family and all of her friends.
Good to see you, LSM. Linda had been sick for a while and was having a hard time, but we were all hoping she would mend and be her old self again.
YaYa123 was one of the first Freepers I met in the lobby of the hotel. I remember saying to her - your for real.
I remember when Jim Robinson gave the marching orders for the MFJ, YaYa put a post up saying "I can just imagine me walking around DC with a name tag that says YaYa123". I remember walking with her and saying - your doing it, walking the streets with that name tag.
God I loved that lady.
Even on freepmail you could hear that lovely laugh of hers. And, what a sense of humor she had. I always told her she should have her own talk show.
Dean, your a lucky man to have had Linda as your wife.
