Any state or city that has enough money to inspect people’s garbage deserves to go bankrupt.
Get real, folks.

They’ll need full hazmat to get near the garbage in SF. Ugh.

How can they tell whose garbage is whose?
I’d just say that it wasn’t *MY* garbage, that someone left it in front of my home while I was sleeping.
(That, or put the garbage bag in the car, head to a vacant lot... and leave it.)

They’ve been doing this in Germany for years, to make sure you’re not throwing away anything that should be recycled.

After removing any and all papers that might identify the origin of the garbage, homeowners should put their garbage into big boxes, address them to Mayor Newsom at City Hall, NO return address, and leave them at the local post office during the night with the box marked “C.O.D.” - I guarantee the post office won’t keep them or dispose of them, hey - it’s the U.S. mails, right?
But that fool Newsom will get the message.
