Ludacris' Obama song unlikely to alienate voters

Ludacris' new song, "Politics as Usual," may have cost him one of his biggest fans, Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama.

And for good reason: It points up the dilemma facing the nation's potential first black president, who wants the support of the influential hip-hop community but needs to steer clear of the controversy so commonly associated with its music.

The Obamanation Kool-Aid drinkers probably think it’s cool and agree with everything that moron says in his “song.”

May not alienate many supporters, but the effect it will have is that it will crystallize those who are “squishy” opposed.

I am so glad that Reuters is now telling me how I am likely to react to current events. I so often just don’t know what to think. Now I can just look at the latest Reuters articles to know what I should be thinking. WHAT A RELEIF!!! NO MORE HAVING TO THINK FOR MYSELF!!!

Well, they may say that none of these gaffes matter much, but I just heard on Fox News — a minute ago — that the new Gallup Poll shows McCain and Obama each have 44% in the polls.

Barry O. is evaporating right in front of our very eyes.

Shep Smith reporting.

“While hip-hop fans are expected to be a factor in the November election, the song is not.” LOL

You are so right about the Hillary voters being really turned off by this. Many of them already have a serious chip on their shoulders because of the way she was treated by the media and the Obama supporters and others in the Democratic party.

How about the military voters who hear the words about “McCain should be in a wheel chair”?

One other observation - to Democrats, why would being in a wheel chair be an indication that someone is unqualified to be a President? Wasn’t their Depression and WWII hero President FDR in a wheel chair??? Older Democrats (those over 70 years of age} may really be irritated to hear this.

Really? I wonder if they talked to any typical white people outside of their liberal bubble? I’m very upset about the lyrics about the whitehouse being black and calling for violence!
