Actually the Republicans can go home and use this very effectively. They can point out that they WANTED to stay and vote on REAL solutions, but were prevented by the arrogant Democrats who only want to force Americans to follow their 'green' solutions, and keeping oil and gas prices high is part of their strategy. They're certainly NOT for the 'little people' who are hurt disproportionately by them.

The President doesn't need to force the House back in session. He's giving the Democrats this rope to hang themselves. If your opponent is harming himself, stay out of his way!

We disagree SuziQ. They had the opportunity to resolve the problem NOW. Some people spent more time on this thread, than the R's did in the house. I hope something concrete comes of it, but I'm not holding my breath.

As far as the democrats "hanging themselves:" if a tree falls in the forest does it make a sound? So few people are aware of and understand what really went on yesterday, that I predict there will be little or no impact. Believe me, I hope I'm wrong.
