House Republicans are still there, raising cain- trying to get them to turn the lights back on and continue debating over drilling!!!

I just called and said "There's a Republican revolt going on int the House Chamber and I wasn't seeing much coverage of it." I got a run around on it. Was told several times "There are no cameras on now. Cameras are not allowed." I objected, politely, that the story could still be covered.
He seemed mildly irritated that I would question that and asked if I wanted to talk to (name garbled) and I said yes. Got a phone tree that led to leaving a recorded message. I did...
"There's a Republican revolt going on in the House Chamber. I understand that the cameras are turned off. You can still cover the story. Thank you."

My husband got sandwiches at Wal-mart and brought his satellite radio receiver in the from the truck so we can learn something. We’ll still probably have to go to the pool tonight, though - first night without thunderstorms in quite a while.

..and when do the Democrats give the landholders a chance to 'defend themselves' and have their representatives vote on the land they own. The dems are acting like these federal lands are theirs. BS, this is public land, ie OUR LAND! We should have a voice through our representatives what happens on that land.
