I just called and said "There's a Republican revolt going on int the House Chamber and I wasn't seeing much coverage of it." I got a run around on it. Was told several times "There are no cameras on now. Cameras are not allowed." I objected, politely, that the story could still be covered.
He seemed mildly irritated that I would question that and asked if I wanted to talk to (name garbled) and I said yes. Got a phone tree that led to leaving a recorded message. I did...
"There's a Republican revolt going on in the House Chamber. I understand that the cameras are turned off. You can still cover the story. Thank you."
That is what makes three measly minutes on FOX News important. If it gets to a few more Congress critters they may join in. Thousands of ordinary folk just got informed too. This was a successful strike in this battle, FReepers.
The alternative is hanging the clothes out in the rain.
