We have less than 24 hours to stop the dems from going on a 5 week vacation while Americans suffer at the pumps!!

From what I understand, President Bush has never called for a Special Session and now is the time to drive this message home by doing so..imho!!
I would love to see Pelosi and Reid have to stay in Washington for the next 5 weeks!!
Many Americans are having to alter and/or cancel their vacations while our dem congress packs their bags without a care in the world!
This is the one recourse we have right now to stick it to dems and make them answer to the 75% of the American people that want to DRILL NOW!!

You may be right, but when I heard this reported on the news today, it was reported that we have less than 24 hours before Congress adjourns. I’ll go to Mike Pence’s website and try to find out.

Apparently the Congress has already voted to adjourn yesterday,(it passed by only ONE VOTE) so they can adjourn at any time, unless the President call for a Special Session.

Mike Pence is one of the good guys in the House. Now, lets tell the fools (anti-offshore drilling lawmakers) that they don't deserve a VACATION. What did Queen Nancy & King Harry do this year - except for hitting a new low in approval ratings!!

At about 2 PM CDT I called the offices of:
Congress; Marsha Blackburn, John Tanner, Travis Childers, and Nancy Pelosi.
Senate; Lamar Alexander, Bob Corker.
And, the White House Comment Line.
I DEMANDED a vote on drilling for oil wherever it can be found, and demanded as well that these representatives should contact the President to request that he call an emergency session for such a vote if either house should recess without it.
If they recess, the President should promptly call them back into session for the express purpose of holding such a vote. And should they recess again without such a vote, that he call them back into session AGAIN, as many times as necessary - right up to election day - until they do.
