The Obama Campaign issued the following statement today after receiving an apology from rapper Ludicris over offensive lyrics in a recent release.
"Senator Obama was truly moved by the sincere apology from Ludicris today. The words were so touching that Senator Obama felt that Ludicris should have a place on his cabinet. The senator noted that anyone who can apologize that well certainly has the qualities and experience to be Secretary of State, and apolgize for America around the world to restore our dignity." Ludicris could not be reached for comment.
And while satire, like most comedy, there is a kernel of truth in it. If you thought the Clinton years were plagued by bad behavior in our house, can you imagine what will take place with O in residence? Ludacris concert in the Rose Garden anyone?
Funny thing is, he probably only put Ludacris on there to appear more black...and it backfired.
Rumors that I, uh, have decided to make LuduhCris my Sec of uh State are, uh, uhntrue. He will be my uh, minister of uh, reparations.
They probably wouldn’t appreciate the Lincoln Bedroom, either. Or, maybe just the bed.

But wait! The dignity of the United States would be easily restored if we didn’t have junior senators going hither and thither trashing the good name of the USA!

We ought to cut off the purse strings to all “those countries” who think the United States is so awful. Why are we giving them money?
How about “paint the White House black”?
You’re talking about Rush’s “excrement list” foreign policy.
Vote against the USA in the UN, on the list.
Act in a manner detrimental to the USA, on the list.
Refuse to denounce “outspoken citizens” criticizing the USA, on the list.
While on the list, you get NO aid, and no preferential trade.
You may get off the list if, during a period of X years, you refrain from any activity that gets you on the list.
That’s not the ludacris I knew.
The rapper may be named Ludacris, but this situation is ludicrous! Obama is a pandering abomination. If American voters are foolish enough to elect him, America deserves to fall. As a nation we will have squandered our inheritance.

It’s too bad that George W Bush can’t continue to be President forever. The country is so much better off because we’ve voted for him. The economy, family, environment, world relations, morality, health and spirituality and how we’re viewed as a respected world power has never been better. If we stick together and all vote for McCain, we can continue moving this country forward.
