Glad you can run yours on hope. I filled our Xterra up yesterday for $70.60. That’s the first time I’ve ever paid over $70 to fill up any vehicle. It costs me $60 to fill up our Accord, which gets 28 mpg. Thankfully we have to fill up only every other week.

A couple of weeks ago my daughter was watching a rerun og "Fresh Price of Belair" -- and the George and Louise Jefferson characters were doing a guest shot on the show.

I caught a few minutes of the episode, just as they all got into a cutting contest (i.e. "Yo' mama's so fat . . . .) Louise got one off that went: "Yo' daddy's ears are so big that he looks like a car coming at you with both doors open."

I had to laugh. I immediately thought of Obama.

I just sent an email to political@gop.com about this, and included a link to the video. I also added that if the President doesn’t call an emergency session of Congress to debate the energy issue, and allows the Democrats their way to go on vacation, then the GOP doesn’t deserve to win in November.
