There would have been a blood-type on the certificate but the guy who determined that was killed in a freak elevator accident before he could let anyone know.
This is predicated on an argument that dual citizenship disqualifies a presidential candidate, based on questionable "allegiance" and "loyalty," under Article II of the Constitution.
Unfortunately, the person making the argument is not a lawyer, and there's no precedent in law for the argument.
Here's the link:
Divided Loyalites, Obamas Eligibility Problem PART 1
For what it’s worth, something of that poor of quality would be fairly easy to fake with photoshop. They couldn’t provide a better copy from microfiche?
I defy anyone to prove that wasn’t printed last week in a modern print shop, if they can even prove it ever existed outside of a computer memory.
A document with no provenance that is very low resolution image of what is said to be a microfilm of an originally poor quality printed copy of a neighborhood advertiser isn’t very compelling evidence to shore up a web image of an obviously altered official document.
The only thing that argues this is genuine is that it was found by a clinton operative.
God forbid that anything I care about depends on the veracity of anything remotely related to the clintons.
Anna Toot just happens to be the name of one of Stanley Anns g-g-g-grandmothers, apparently she was something of a family hero.
"Obama and his half-sister Maya Soetoro-Ng refer to [Madelyn] Dunham as "Toot" short for "tutu," the Hawaiian word for grandparent." - Wikipedia
Since the Dunham's ancestors did not live in Hawaii, it seems unlikely that there was such a person as Anna Toot in their family tree.
Stanley Ann was too young to get married in Hawaii without parental permission.
She was 18 years and nine months old when Barack Jr. was born.
I suppose all that would be required to do this is to look up microfilm of the Honolulu Advertiser at a library. According to Wikipedia it is the largest newspaper in Hawaii. I assumed that is where this image came from.
The Clintons have aversion to a blue dress. Anything else is acceptable.
Yup, the the August 13th Sunday Edition.
I agree.
Read the analysis at the links I posted.
The issue is not where one is born, but rather whether the individual ever took advantage of the citizenship offered.
The example used in analysis to which I linked is that of John McCain, who ostensibly would have been technically eligible for dual Panamanian/U.S. citizenship, but never used it. Rather, he obviously accepted and participated fully in the U.S. citizenship which he acquired at birth and was never Panamanian.
The argument is that Obama may very well have been a full participant in Indonesian citizenship, in probablility even traveling on an Indonesian (and possibly British or Kenyan) passport.
Again, read at the links.
The author, screenname Judah Benjamin, suggests that Obama was adopted by the Indonesian stepfather and that the adoption sealed his original Hawaiian birth certificate. Info on the amended bc (and possibly name changes) may be what they’re trying to hide.
It’s an interesting and well-researched theory.
And that's the only thing I can make out of this theory.
Note that Anna Maria Toot is listed.
Do you always trust Wiki on important things?
Why?
Yes. If only there was a FReeper who lived nearby.
According to Wikipedia it is the largest newspaper in Hawaii.
Wiki again.
I assumed that is where this image came from.
Maybe it is. You know what happens when you assume, don't you?
The only source we have for that is TexasDarlin'.
She's got a couple things that make me a bit skeptical.
#1 She's a PUMA/Hillary! operative.
#2 She's in Texas. That's pretty far from the Honolulu library and/or the Honolulu Advertiser's nearest office.
Say ‘Hello’ to President Lolo, Jr.
The problem is that the constitution requires that the president be a “natural born” citizen.
What exactly “natural born” means has been the subject of a rather lively debate, both her on FR and in the legal community.
The general consensus is that anything that would divide a president’s loyalties can be an issue.
Being born in a foreign country, or holding or having ever held a foreign country’s citizenship could factor in of a presidents ability to dispassionately handle a situation involving that country.
All of this conjecture is moot because Obama has already proclaimed universally, “I am a citizen of the world”.
Case closed. End of discussion
