Barack Obama's campaign is condemning a song by the rapper Ludacris that praises Obama and bitterly attacks Senators Hillary Clinton and John McCain.
"As Barack Obama has said many, many times in the past, rap lyrics today too often perpetuate misogyny, materialism, and degrading images that he doesnt want his daughters or any children exposed to," said spokesman Bill Burton. "This song is not only outrageously offensive to Senator Clinton, Reverend Jackson, Senator McCain, and President Bush, it is offensive to all of us who are trying to raise our children with the values we hold dear. While Ludacris is a talented individual he should be ashamed of these lyrics."

Wow, dumped the guy in three hours. That is even less time than McGovern took to dump Eagleton.

No he didn’t. As Rush pointed out, he had a SPOKESMAN do it. Obama has yet to throw Luddie under the bus.

This is a contrived event. You can bet he had Ludicris write the song and then uses it to gain points and an oh, so fair candidate. It happened to fast, just like with Jesse Jackson’s contrived mic slip.

“Less than three hours...whats the throwing under the bus record to date?”
I don’t buy it. Obama most likely arranged for Ludacris to do the terrible rap so Obama could come out and make a nice statement about values! Reminds me again of the “private prayer” Obama wrote and gave to the media to release....so he could boost his being a Christian.

If Obama gets elected, they’ll all fall out after Election Day.
