Link only for AP
(Excerpt) Read more at news.yahoo.com ...
While not this EXACT link, there’s already a thread goin’ on this.
Sorry to be the “ALREADY POSTED!!!” police ;-)
There was, but it was mysteriously yanked, just a little while ago. I didn't see any earlier duplicates.
Actually, even thought I posted on the other thread, I can NOT find it any more! Post away!
I was flying back from Nassau to Atlanta and the flight attendant seving drinks to us commoners in economy would use her bare hands to retrive ice in the ice bucket and then put the ice into people drinks.
yeah, what was up with that? I did not see any offending comments?
Admin - what happened to that other thread? (so we don’t repeat the mistake)
Was it an AP story, maybe?
What’s that?
They said they found a WOMAN!
People are just dying to get to Atlanta, it seems.............
Whew! Thanks for clearing that up, I tried to find the original story that was posted and I thought I was going insane. Of course, that wouldn’t be too long of a trip for me, LOL!
When it’s time to go, it’s time to go...
Did she pay extra for her checked bags?
A few years ago, my flight from Denver to Orlando was delayed when an old man died shortly before takeoff. Paramedics came and took him off the plane on a stretcher. His wife went with them. Then a service guy came on the plane and replaced the seat. We took off shortly after.
Sen. Webb. Paging Sen. Webb.
It happened just as I was posting a statistic, that about 300 people a year die as individuals on commercial flights. I didn't see anything inflammatory in the thread either.
FReeper Delmont set a personal record a couple of years ago....on flights from Seattle to Boston, and then Boston back to Seattle a few days later, both flights diverted to Detroit because of sick passengers.
I wouldn’t have thought there was enough room to die in there.
Its not uncommon for someone to die on a flight. I used to work for the (not-so)friendly skies and when a plane came in with a medical the first priority was to remove the person from the plane. The FAA and other alphabet agencies have rules and procedure about death on planes and it was possible that a plane would be out of service for a month or at least until autopsy ruled out infectious disease or the airlines fault in the death. Additionally, they didn’t want the publicity.
