Then when there are only 10-20 very large companies left, (4-5 in each sector) buying our fuel on the futures market (so we get to pay lower costs) we, the drivers can organize and unionize the large truck companies. This way I can get my union to make sure I get payed copious quantities of money for doing the same job I now only get a decent amount of cash for. And it will be the American public who will have to pay for my increased wages.
After all, Is not the Democrat Party Motto: “As long as I get mine, the rest of the country can go SCREW!!!”
Agree 100%.
Ha, ha, ha! Bring it on, dims! All I know is that I have half the available income I had a year ago, and some of the Repubs have offered a real solution. What have you offered??? Taxation, better living through Big Brother, and Star Trek Science Fiction?
Here’s the thing. When the gov’t leases land for oil or gas exploration, it receives money for it. No, I have no idea how much, but companies are paying $3K to $30K per acre to private individuals in some states for a 5 year lease. Then there are the royalties which by law (at least in our state) are set a a 12 1/2% minimum and can run up to 20% currently for some nat gas properties. Individuals in PA are getting many thousands per month in royalties.
Why doesn’t the gov’t want to tap this revenue stream. I know our state (PA) gov’t is very interested.
Like Al Gore and his Occidental Petroleum Corporation stock holdings?
I hear you, neighbor- I ran a wrecker service here in the nineties, and if I were still doing it, I reckon just the fuel costs would have run me out of business.
We should have started working on this, seriously when the Arab oil embargo hit in 1973.
I am so fed up with those ignorant, arrogant clowns in DC- and the state capitols, as well— that I could spit nails at ‘em.
I ran across a great typo last night, here:

“Errogant,” error and arrogant.
The eco-extremists subsist of money donated by the owners of tax-exempt "charitable" foundations belonging to families who inherited oil company stock. Why conservatives don't expose this fraud and racketeering activity is beyond me.
Strategy should work pretty well judging by the past history of an ignorant electorate and chickens**t mewling Republican “leadership”
Yes, those evil repulicans trying to make it easier for oil companies to increase the supply and drive down costs.
Were the Grand Oil Party, and theyre the Grand NO OIL Party.
Works for me.”
Exactly, turn it right around on them and blast them in the face.
Own the talking point.

Grand Oil Party?

when busnesses are fleeing the country like the last helicopter out of saigon because democrats are going to tax and destroy YOUR JOB and YOUR CHILDREN”S FUTURE you have to decide that democrats are just bad for america.
