Shooting Suspect hated liberals, frustrated about job search

KNOXVILLE, Tennessee (CNN) -- The suspect in a fatal shooting at a Knoxville church Sunday was motivated by frustration over being unable to obtain a job and hatred for the liberal movement, police said Monday.

Authorities recovered a four-page letter in which the suspect, Jim Adkisson, described his feelings and motives, police said.

Adkisson, 58, of Powell, Tennessee, has been charged with one count of first-degree murder in the shootings at Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church.

The gunman killed two adults and wounded seven others before being overpowered by congregants, authorities said.

The case is being investigated as a hate crime, police said.

Sterling Owen IV told reporters on Monday.

Authorities also discovered a letter from the state government telling Adkisson he was having his food stamps reduced or eliminated, police said.

"He did express that frustration, that the liberal movement was getting more jobs," Owen said. "And he felt like he was being kept out of the loop because of his age."

Adkisson's resume indicates he had worked in mechanical engineering, police said.

Owen said Adkisson apparently acted alone and chose the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church because of recent publicity about activities there that Adkisson considered liberal.

How does a guy on food stamps hate liberals?

Enabled by liberals might be more accurate.

A conservative on food stamps? And I wonder what is meant by his "hatred for the liberal movement"? Which part did he hate? Apparently not the government program part.

"Had he waited until November he would have had a job at McDonald’s making $50.00 an hour with full medical benefits."

Why work at McDonalds? When he could sit on his fat @$$ all day drinking MD2020 and get $30 an hour with full medical.

And then when I need to see a Doc I won't be able to, because him and all his buddies will have all the appointments booked.

Most conservatives I know would rather starve than be on food stamps.

Did you hear the one about the two Unitarian Universalists that were doing mission work? They came up to a door, rang the bell and when the homeowner answered, they asked: ‘Hello, may we speak with you a moment? What do we believe about God?’

Hardly.

Or maybe people are beginning to wake up to the fact that the ‘People’s Party’ is exclusive to just a handful of rotten people on the Hill confiscating wealth and refusing to decrease costs to the consumers on important issues such as health care, education and energy. Even the Clinton’s in there blatant greed and corruption of the nineties threw the little guy a bone. But there wasn’t as much Democrat connection to the banking system then either. Most people still connect Wall St. and corrupt iBanks/mortgages to Republicans. But in reality, this all changed. Now corrupt banking (think of about a total of 50 people) have drilled too far into the consumer creating non-sustainable debt. And the famous ‘lawyers’ of the Democrat party legislated out safeguards in the late 90’s just as Clinton was leaving office. The current Democrat party figured out how to directly legislate there own pocketbooks and are investing the campaign contributions in mass media big time to further brainwash.

Having Democrats being in charge of a gift horse economy of the nineties thanks to the Internet boom. Now controlled collusion of energy and housing of a consolidation of power means this party will retain power for many years, at least until the 2012 elections if not beyond. They are directly fleecing population and manipulating the free markets. Socialize the profits, privatize the losses. It is the socialist way, ask Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro. You could also ask Mussolini if he were alive today. Mussolini came the closest to a balance of workable socialism but he was shrewd enough to throw bones to the working man. Nonetheless, the cracks were appearing in his economy as well prior to WWII.

Many to believe the Democrats were saviors and voted in this House majority are facing serious regrets. But I don’t give a pass to Republicans for allowing this to happen. You people got fat and lazy and I exclude President Bush. His deal was the mistake of hiring a splintered cabinet.

The Democrats continue to accelerate media investment to brainwash the masses that all Republicans were bad, evil people who didn’t care about the little guy. Now we see the blowback from failed promises. This is nothing compared to the Obamanation and Democrat House control in the next four years.

Meanwhile, my aged mother in law and Democrat fan filled idol worshipers of friends are consistently approaching me for personal loans because they can’t pay the bills. And these are not whiners that spent all there dough on a jungle safari either, they are working men and women representing all trades.

Perhaps I will advertise to tens of millions online telling them to vote for me in and then use my legislative power to vote into my own pocketbook. Oh wait, FDR figured that one out decades ago... Thank Emporer Hirohito for ending the last Great Depression. This current batch of idiots on the Hill are going to get a lot of us killed and guess what? It will still be Bush’s fault. Everything that happens from here on out is always Bush’s fault. Repeat after me, Democrat zombies...

...They believe in themselves,

Well, they have some sole searching to do. What did they do to cause this person feel so aggrieved that he would want to kill them?

This was not so much a crime, as a desperate cry for help.

Interesting that this supposed hatred for liberals and the tolerant church is mentioned constantly. Meanwhile similar acts of violence committed by muslims are downplayed or ignored. Like that shooting of several Jews by a muslim guy in Seattle, I think it was, a few years ago.

What this Knoxville nut did is to be condemned, and I hope he gets the death penalty. But I find it sad and infuriating also that his name and ugly face are being seen all over America while those animals who committed an even worse crime against that couple in Jan 2007 are nowhere to be seen in the national media.

As everyone knows, John Wayne Gacy was also a Democrat. However Liberals may counter by pointing out that Ted Bundy was a Republican.

This guys can’t be a conservative.

By picking up a gun, he just became one of them (liberals). Or, maybe, he has been a liberal all along and don’t know it.

Isn’t this crazy? But, then, isn’t liberalism nuts?

Exactly. Now for about two years I was wondering why I should continue running a business when I saw what was emerging. If a group can simply come along and confiscate profit through monetary policy on one side and legislating there own pockets on the other by market manipulation, it means I live in a Fascist State.

So what’s the next logical conclusion if you are not extremely wealthy and expatriate or build yourself a huge bunker with no ties to the outside world? You kiss the State’s ass or face bankruptcy. Guess this guy got tired of kissing ass.

I guess the welfare State is not so good for the soul after all. I guess I will have to give up my dream of not working, smoking bong hits, banging chicks and my occasional visit to the grocey store or drug dealer to exhange some of my stamps for drugs.

Whats that song ‘Counting flowers on the wall, that don’t bother me at all ?

Here is is: http://www.cowboylyrics.com/lyrics/heatherly-eric/countin-flowers-on-the-wall-15810.html

"I understand the entire innocent until proven guilty thing but when everyone knows who did it is there any reason why he is called a “suspect”. There is no suspicion about it, the only question is what is the punishment."

He maybe guilty of the action but there have been many cases were people did things only to save their families that were being held hostage.

Everything must be considered before the verdict is read.
