Good morning, Islander7
Thank You THE Tom for your service. And, congrats on becoming a medical student. We can never have enough good doctors and nurses.
That's a tad warm. No A/C?
Dreary...is the CNNWeather's word for "sandstorm?"
We're still having ours, although it's not as bad as the one we had Sunday.
"Hot town...summer in the city....my face and hair feel dirty and gritty..."LOL
God has Blessed America indeed!
I am thankful for The Tom for his service!
PS..I hear you are never a “former” Marine.
Once a Marine...always a Marine.

Thanks. I have my sports cream at work.
Thanks Kathy!!

“...PS..I hear you are never a former Marine...”
I believe ‘former’ Marines are those who have honorably served and now serve as civilians.
I know of only one EX Marine. John Murtha!
Thank you!
The TOM is a hoot!
I’ll pass along your well wishes.
LOL..Indeed!
We’re still having ours, although it’s not as bad as the one we had Sunday.

Thanks, DocRock, for the video link...Ray Stevens is so funny.
I haven’t read the whole thread yet but Katrina did a number on the base at Pascagoula.
The storm surge scoured pavement at 29 ft above sea level and water lines were at about 33 feet.
I saw walls pushed in from the surge, cars piled like toys in the parking lot, and plenty of dead fish inside dorms and other buildings.
But who even knew that Katrina hit Mississippi?
Thanks, Mayor, for today’s sustenance for body and soul.
More sand....you get to wear your fashionable mask again. d:o)
Congrats to The Tom! Thanks for bringing his news to us.
He has a good stance and grip there...bet he tears ‘em up at the range!
