Incontrovertably, it is Rice.
Irrefutably, it is Lieberman.
Positively, it is Hagel.
Absolutely, it is Bloomberg,
Huckabee,
Romney,
Jeb Bush,
Crist,
Hillary Clinton,
Bill Clinton,
et al.

There will be fraud. There will be incompetence. Both of these occur in each election. How much of an impact varies.
It doesn’t mean that we all agree that it’s worth throwing in the towel.
If you want to, that’s your choice. I choose differently.

I call complete and utter BS.
Powell’s gonna vote for Obama for one. Secondly, he has nothing he brings to the table to round out McCain, like economic experience.
To: MikeFrancesa.com
It is Romney. This is not what I believe. This is from the insider information.

And everybody knows it. But there is a larger voting bloc which this might appeal to; guilty white people, who might be able to convince themselves that a vote for Powell is just like a vote for Obama. The Democrats could have nominated Robert Byrd in past years, dressed him in his Grand Kleagle gowns, and they still would have won 90% of the black vote. This would be a move more likely to appeal to the soccer moms and Volvo Republicans.
I doubt Powell would do it, though. He has a better life on corporate boards and making speeches than he would as VP. He did give McCain $2300 so I don't think he'd be Obama's VP.

And all insiders have perfect and total knowledge.
LOL
I don’t think so. Why pick a VP and announce before the Dems have theirs? If Obama has an advantage now, why not let him go public first and get a better VP to undo this lead?

Had the rumor been Condaleeza Rice and not Powell I might have actually choked on my coffee a bit, thinking he is going after the women and some minority votes.
But Powell??
Not a chance in hell, he would be flushing his candidacy down the toilet the instant he announced it.

Hell, I can hardly take RINO Juan McLame much less the rather putrid RINO Powell.
Guess I really will be looking for a new conservative party.

If true, it would show John McCain has a serious lack of judgement.

Hey!
Dick Morris said this was McCain’s best shot!
I hate this too, but, “First, ya gotta’ win!”.
It looks a lot more like pandering than principle.
It certainly isn’t “Conservative”.
