Fast food restaurants have employee dress codes not only for appearances, but for hygiene and safety. With that in mind, this case is sounding a lot like the case of the women wanting to wear Islamic attire in a Midwestern tortilla factory. The local health inspector isn't going to take kindly to long sleeves potentially brushing perishable food, and/or the grill and fryer oil, to say nothing of guidelines for hand-washing (see also: the debate over short sleeves in British hospitals). Then there is the matter of long attire and the potential need to make a quick exit in the event of a fire or robbery.

I have the Westergaard Mohammad bomb in a turban as a t-shirt. I wear it when I go to the outlet mall nearby. The Outlet mall has many Canadian patrons and once last fall while wearing my t-shirt one of these savages and his burka clad property saw me. He began to create a fuss and became threatening. When I let him know (moved my jacket enough for him to see that I was carrying my .45ACP) he backed off in a hurry, rounded up his property and left.
I realized then, that these scumbags do it just to be noticed and make us feel weird. They look down on us. This POS thought that he could create a scene and might have taken stronger action had I not been armed.
Bwahahahahahahah.

I'm envious of the new uniforms the folks at Burger King are wearing. I worked there when we girls had to wear hideous yellow polyester short sleeve dresses and pantyhose!!

IIRC, in “Not Without My Daughter”, the author wrote about how filthy those burkas are. They blow their noses into them and basically wipr their mouths with them. They are stiff from dried snot.

It was a cafe-type sandwich place in the International Terminal on the right before you go through security to the gates. She was very unfriendly, and I felt like I was putting her out asking for service.
I also had a hard time because up front, she (actually they, there were two) appeared very unwelcoming, as if she was hiding from society and the rest of us who were dressed in everyday clothes. If there had been another place to grab something to eat in the same vicinity without its employees wearing their religion all over themselves, covering up as if we are infected, or at the very least leaches who may actually look at them, I would have made a beeline to the counter. As it was, my son was hungry, and they were the only act in town. It is quite an exclusionary “appearance” when someone who is supposed to be welcoming and serving YOU looks as though they are hiding themselves from you.
