Sirius Satellite Radio host Howard Stern supports the merger of his network with XM Satelitte Radio and is fuming at Democratic opposition on the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) panel.
After FCC commissioners announced they have reached a deal to approve the merger of Sirius (NASDAQ:SIRI) and XM (NASDAQ:XMSR), Stern ranted about Democrats gangsterism and communism and the obstacles to the merger.

Freedom matters, eh Howard?
Although...if the Fairness Doctrine comes back- what will the libs expect as a “balance” for Stern’s show?

The fact that these Democrats on the FCC are communists, Stern said. Theyre for communism. They dont want to see companies this is gangsterism. I said, This is crazy. When the Dems 'gore your ox' then you get conversion ay Howard? If you drop all the sexual perversion garbage you spout you may get in as a conservative talk show host. We could use you to oconvert some of those blinded liberal listeners of yours wandering in the wilderness.

In the late 80's - early 90's I was never much of a Stern fan or detractor...I really never paid him much attention. After being assigned to a small postage stamp sized outpost in Korea in 96-7, I had little to do and bought a copy of "Miss America." While I may personally object to some of his morality (or absence thereof) and coarseness, one has to acknowledge an intelligence far beyond want his well publicized juvenile antics would suggest. Intellectually he's probably a lot closer to the libertarian and small government conservatives on FR than many here would care to admit.
Although having read "Miss America" over 12 years ago, I distinctly recall the account of his "meeting" with Michael Jackson; it literally had me ROTFLMAO.

i like listening to stern on my long ride to work in the morning and have seen him flip flop many times over the years. in the beginning he was all for bush and invading overseas to make them pay for 9/11 etc. then as the war droned on he became anti bush because he didn’t get the job done quick enough and osama had not been found and made to pay. that was when i really saw him going hog wild over the democrats. now you can see how much they think of him. no good deed goes unpunished.

Agreed. He’s actually quite intelligent; not to mention a savvy businessman....

Me thinks Howard has taken a loss on his stock options. Hey Howard, the liberals don't care who loses. Not even liberals like you. It's about control.
You are correct on your “they are all communists” remark. Surprised you just figured it out. Better late than never Howard.
