He didn’t mention Iraq not once that I recall from reading the speech. It’s as if it didn’t exist. And was just there for cripes sake.

That’s the problem with him, he seems to think he’s running for President of the world.

A visit to the mid-east, especially Iraq and Afghanistan would make sense. One could possibly make sense of visits to other countries in the region. But Europe? It’s a campaign flight. He’s completely deluded and acting as if he’s already President. It’s ridiculous to be campaigning in Europe.

Obama may crave power and adulation but he does not possess the deep, dark wellspring of ethnic hatred and deterministic nationalism that characterized Herr Hitler. Instead, he's more a Mussolini type: boastful and vain; ambitious without regard to need or resource; highly articulate but casually dismissive of the words of others.

I think it’s pretty funny that he morphed the famous European excuse for colonialism, “the White man’s burden” into a line in his speech about how the US and Europe have to take up the burden of saving the rest of the world - and nobody noticed.
