Nearly seven years after the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, the war on terror in this city has evolved into a quiet struggle against a phantom foe.

The NYT giving us the “all clear”.
NYPD ping...
Gee. Ya think it might have anything to do with the “Religion of Peace” “educational” posters they are mandating to be put on the subways?
In NY of all places. Simply shameful.
Somebody on the 911 commission asked ‘They were on a war footing; why weren’t we’ ..... Sen Bob Kerry, I think ..?..!
9/11 never happened. Jihad doesn’t exist. (My skin is crawling.) Early am news: a pic of BOM at the Wailing Wall yesterday. Do American Jews think this means he’ll back Israel? One hopes they’d remember that the Koran says it’s okay to cheat, lie, main, kill infidels, Jews, as well as signing treaties they have no intention of honoring.
I haven’t met one person who admits he’ll vote for BOM, but one of Barry’s rising sun signs is stuck in the grass by an upscale home. (Idiot). Saw a terrific looking McCain bumper sticker yesterday. Great graphic: his name over a waving American flag.
I believe every mosque being built is a weapons depot.
The New York Slimes is describing “peace in our time.” I am convinced that the pacifists will not be satisfied until we’re all dead.
Freedom is not free. Always be vigilant.
These are the same people that said everyone was doing just fine and eating well in the Ukraine. I don’;t believe anything these pigs write.
“Phantom” foes are the worst kind, for obvious reasons.
Our phantom foes have plenty of places to hide in the world and all the opportunity they needed to enter and hide in America itself. (Some war, huh?)It’s gonna get a hell of a lot worse before it gets better. In fact, I’d say it HAS to get worse before it gets better, given that so many are delusional about the nature of the force against us.
The city in the article is Providence R.I.
They may have a point, then.
I doubt Providence, R.I. is very high on the terrorist wish list.
It is no wonder that the NYT has lost 50% of their subscriptions and home deliveries.
Phantom foe BUMP! /sarcasm
It only appears to be the case because so many "foreign" AQ have been killed in Iraq.
here, however, anti-terror is still in full swing. but with the staffing issues we now have, there is talk of scaling back. overtime costs are going through the roof! not for me though, unfortunately.
