If the marks on the hood of his car are any indication he's lying."If the windshield's hit, you must convict!"

To those of us who live here, traffic lights dont mean a thing. Honest.I don't mind hitting with my car people who don't think traffic lights mean a thing . Honest.

Unfortunately, he was wrong about that. But he’s an old guy, and gets lots of things wrong lately, like the whole Valerie Plame thing that as much as anything gave the Democrats the congress.
To: Carley
"When finally stopped he simply said he hadnt seen the pedestrian."Well, that begs the question... When is a pedestrian no longer a pedestrian? If he was splayed across BN's windshield, wouldn't he then be considered a commuter?

Reading some of these posts, some freepers don’t get away from the computer much and experience the real world and how occurences like this are usually handled, how police officers behave, how 77 year old drivers drive sometimes and how those same cops treat them. And, we don’t have enough prison space for every person who does something that some freeper says “lock him up” for that.

watching the video, we see that Novak was escorted back to his mustang in a B&W - as a front seat passenger - not where you or I would be...
and so far, he's only been cited for “failure to yield” = must be nice to have connections...You bounce someone off your windshield and you 'didn't see him' - you flee and it's not hit run...

*How many times have YOU hit pedestrians in your convertible and not noticed it?*
Well heck, I thought I was just picking up hitchhikers. What other explanation could there be for people just ending up in my passenger seat????

Wondering if the front windshield was caved in? Hold the phones!
IN the video, we see the police kindly gave him ride back to his car - where he is allowed drive off .
Why was the car not impounded for inspection?
It might be kinda hard, if evidence corroborated the eye witnesses account..to explain how you didn't know you'd hit someone that you bounced off your windshield.
Hey, any investigative reporters out there?

“...But hes an old guy, and gets lots of things wrong lately, like the whole Valerie Plame thing that as much as anything gave the Democrats the congress.”
Somewhat ironic for someone on this board to be saying Novak got things wrong, like the Plame ‘thing” when he was just doing good reporting work.
He was not responsible for what Armitage did or did not do, Joe Wilson, Valerie’s cute Plame game in front of Congress and the whole media lies throughout.
He was in the middle of it and he spoke out when he could. It’s all in his book. I’m baffled that people seem to think he is the cause of this or anything in regards to that.
He’s a darn good reporter. Read his book and see the facts as they are.
And he recounts great stories on earlier elections. Goes into specifics about how Carter would lie and get away with it when running for Prez.
Who does that remind you of?

Wow. The article doesn’t reflect well on Novak. It seems he was trying to leave the scene, also known as a hit and run. I’m trying hard to give him the benefit of the doubt- yet it’s hard to imagine having a person on a bicycle on your windshield and not notice it...

Democrats can murder, steal (even FBI files),
drive drunk and hit police cars, even commit treason.
THEY ARE ALL ABOVE THE LAW.
Novak is not a Republican. He would have been taken
and the car impounded.

How can you hit a guy and he rolls off your windshield, and not know you hit him, unless you have been drinking or are on drugs? Or if your senility is advancing rapidly.

And, we dont have enough prison space for every person who does something that some freeper says lock him up for that. Bull! Hitting a pedestrian and fleeing the scene of the crime is not just 'something that some freeper says 'lock him up ' for! This is a serious crime and we can find plenty of space for Novak.
