When we adopted the surge, we were losing the war in Iraq, and I stood up and said I would rather lose a campaign than lose a war. Apparently Sen. Obama, who does not understand what's happening in Iraq or fails to acknowledge the success in Iraq, would rather lose a war than lose a campaign.
Folks on the press bus say that the italicized sentence is new to McCain's oeuvre. So far today, he's used it twice.

I think MCain is earning serious points by concentrating on America and not his inflated ego and international image.
Oblahblah is a product of drive by education.
McCain used the same line in Greendale WI about 2 months ago.

It’s an excellent line and one that will resonate with the more patriotic rank and file Democrats.

I disagree, except for the part about Obama being a fascist with a world socialism View, but I think he had that before George Soros.

Lt. Colonel Bob Maginnis (USA-Ret.) says Obama is misinformed about the strategic situation. “Is he suggesting we unilaterally disarm?” he wonders. “[That’s] incredibly naïve. And then he suggests [that he would] ‘negotiate with Russia to take our ICBMs off hair-trigger alert.’ Well, guess what? They’re not on hair-trigger alert — and they haven’t been for a long time.”
Maginnis says it is evident to him that Obama’s foreign policy comments are “made by a knee-jerk, liberal academic who really doesn’t understand the threats that this nation faces.”
McCain is well on his way to accomplishing just that even with the "war" won by Bush and Petraeus, so I guess he has that going for him. Liberally Lame, like his campaign.

One thing for sure, Obama the naive, is also an unarmed man..doesn’t know how to fight.
He can however cause Obama to lose his.
And that will be fun to watch. He doesn't think well when someone dares to challenge him. McCain will carve up Obama like a Thanksgiving turkey in the debates.
