It's bad enough that Barack Obama's trip to the Middle East is getting an insane amount of MSM coverage (the three big network news anchors? Whoa!); now, NBC News believes it apt to compare Obama's sojourn to ... an actual military tour of duty.

No suprise.
The Saturday CBSNews report of Obama's welcome to Kuwait
(by some blond reporterette) made it clear that Obama was sacrificing
precious time from Presidential campaigning in the USA in order
to make this visit to Iraq/Afghanistan.
The reporterette made it sound like some G-d had come down from
the top of Mount Olympus to visit the mere mortals.
