Foreign media is meddling in our election

..and of course, they're shilling for Obama.

Remember this: there is NOTHING that the left won't do for power. Clearly, there are things that some individuals who consider themselves to be on the left won't do—that goes without saying. But as an aggregate ideological phenomenon, they will do what it takes. And, as you can see, it is very much an international phenomenon. The left abroad love Obama. The media abroad, who are usually as much (or more) to the left as our own, love Obama.

And now, Der Spiegel is fibricating™ a new reality for Obama. The update to this Hot Air post provides the shocking truth.

First, Der Spiegel reported what Maliki actually said:

As soon as possible, as far as we’re concerned. US presidential candidate Barack Obama is right when he talks about 16 months. Assuming that positive developments continue, this is about the same time period that corresponds to our wishes.

This is in line with the Bush Administration's position. They want to withdraw troops too, and they will do so as soon as conditions allow.

But then, our friends at Der Spiegel changed the quote:

As soon as possible, as far as we’re concerned. U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama talks about 16 months. That, we think, would be the right timeframe for a withdrawal, with the possibility of slight changes.

Kind of takes on a different flair, doesn't it? This new version gives Barack...

The left and the media, both at home and abroad, are invested in American defeat. They predicted it, their political fortunes depend (in part) on it, and many of them want it.
::::::
This is a classic example of the criminal, socialist, far left. Lying is the thier only truth. Real truth shows them for what they are — totally useless, dysfunctional and nothing but power-centric, elitist wanna-be RULERS. Between now and November, we will be showered with this kind of liberal leftist crap, from all over the globe, doing everything they can to make a purse from a sow’s ear...rather make Obama into a qualified, experienced, honorable, patriotic American who cares only about the best for America. ALL OF WHICH IS A TOTAL LIE -— but that is what the liberals are.

Expect lots more. By the truck load. That bad smell is not from a rose garden. It is the tons of bull excrement that the power-mad left will spread over the mindless masses in their fanatic, rabid bid for monolithic power over the American public.

While they are following Obama, the anchors should
ask the Iraqi people what Saddam would be doing today
if he were still in charge of their country.

This new version gives Barack Obama and his allies on the left everything they want.

A) It removes the part about withdrawal being contingent upon positive developments, making it sound like Maliki is in favor of the Obama position, which is withdrawal no matter what.

B) It removes the statement by Maliki that there are continuing positive developments. The left and the media, both at home and abroad, are invested in American defeat. They predicted it, their political fortunes depend (in part) on it, and many of them want it.

Thanks for posting. Love the coined word: fibrication™

Why do we take advice from Europe? Europe is the place many people left to come to America.

Yeah... European version of Dan Rather’s innovative “fake, but accurate”.

I figure the Europeans are a fickled lot. Right now... they think of Obama as a novelty... something that never happened before.... sort of like a monkey in a new pin striped suit but as soon as he makes policies that doesn’t agree with theirs, they’ll dump on him like anyone else.

Obama would first try to please every one all at once and wind up stepping on some toes... hurt someone’s feelings or/and he’ll, in trying to please, switch positions so often no one will know what his policies are.

He doesn’t have the backbone to make commitments and stick by them. He’ll want to be all things to everyone.

Why do we take advice from Europe? Europe is the place many people left to come to America.

The only people paying attention to Europe are the socialists. The democrat socialists yearn to do to the USA what has already been done to Great Britain and Europe.

Carbon taxes, Vat taxes, Spy cameras in every restroom, gasoline taxes that knock your socks off etc.

We need to identify and call out the socialist networks and politicians when they sound off like the whack-a-mole game at Chuck-E-Cheese.

Ah, a strident anti-leftist, just like me! Thanks!

A little piece of good news: at least Americans are largely aware of the bias.
