Coming home from church at 11:30, we could see a curtain of rain falling up on Post. There have been sprinkles here in my part of town this afternoon, but nothing like last night.

Good memory, Kathy...yes, last night’s rain was strong enough to wash away more of my front yard’s landscaping. I put in some river rock last year to slow down the flow of water. It kept the erosion at bay for mild to moderate rainfalls.

Last night’s rainfall was torrential. I found 4 new washouts on the high side of the yard this morning. They’ve all been filled in with dirt and I salvaged enough rock/gravel to cover it over for now. It won’t hold, though. I need to go get some more river rock to finish the job tomorrow.

I was sitting here listening to music when everything went black. The only light in the house was from Nana's laptop - on battery power!

It only lasted 5 minutes, or so, here.

Summer weather seems to have been in April and May....overcast more than sun. Temps in the upper 50s to upper 60s. Not bad...and we finally got some rain, real rain. Hope Zach is having fun at camp. ((HUGS))

Restful enough. HOT. So the pool came in handy a couple of times. (I might just jump in one more time before the gnats take over the yard for the night.)

Right now, I'm watching the first episode of Stargate SG-1 that I taped last night.

It’s been in the mid 80’s here. Uggghhhhh! I can’t wait ‘til fall! :))
I’m doin’ alright. About to have Bible study/fellowship/Lord’s Supper at my house at 7pm. A little later than we usually get together.
