This may be somewhat misleading as earlier in the article it says that "White British" are 59.8% in 2005 estimate with an additional 6.7% being Irish or other White.

From this it appears an increasing 'foreign' population without the traditional respect for the "Bobby" police. Great Britain is reaping the whirlwind it sowed during the days of Empire. Yet they need these people to support their Health and Welfare systems in the post WW2 Socialism Delusional Utopia.

They call them "lager louts" if I remember correctly. The crowd could have been muslim, but it wouldn't surpris me if this was just your standard drunken white British trash.

The only time I ever found myself in a violent crowd was on a street in Cambridge- two groups of drunken white Brits got into a large brawl in the middle of the street and I just happened to be walking by. The lack of police response was shocking. The fight just kept going and going- I can't imagine a brawl like that continuing unabated in an American college town like Ann Arbor or Madison. And if that had happened in a place like NYC, the place would have been swarming with cops in minutes.
