US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Thursday called President George W. Bush "a total failure" who "has no ideas," in an interview with CNN.
Responding to stinging criticism from Bush on the Democratic leadership in both houses of Congress and the slow pace of the legislative agenda, as Congress prepares for its one-month summer recess in August, Pelosi let loose:
"You know, God bless him, bless his heart, the president of the United States, a total failure, losing all credibility with the American people on the economy, on the war, on energy, you name the subject."
Pelosi, 68, said the House and Senate were busy "trying to sweep up after (Bush's) mess over and over and over again ... The president knows it. He needs something to talk about. Because he has no ideas."
The speaker was especially critical of Bush's proposal to lift a ban on offshore oil drilling as a means to ease the current fuel price crisis, calling it a ploy to draw attention away from his failures.

Nancy Pelosi, the village idiot.
nope. Tried to post Undun song by The Guess Who..unsuccessful twice!
She’s very bitter and angry the President isn’t letting them wiggle on energy OR Iraq. No Republican should. She is a witch, nothing else fits other then this.
Neurosis or psychosis?
Here's your sign.
In September when the drilling ban expires. Congress will then have to vote have the ban renewed or it expires and it becomes a non-issue. They vote to renew the ban, it is treason, considering 70% of Americans want to drill and add supply. Very few except the extreme brainwashed is buying the oil and coal is dirty bit. They are the 30% of our population with enough wealth to not care about energy bills and groceries. They let it expire it’s a non-issue and you vote Republican.
Because even if some of the Republicans are Republocrats, energy independence is sure to follow and it’s not just these high prices which are a real threat, they will ease some. The real threat is transferring 1/2 TRILLION dollars of wealth overeas where our enemies are now gaining strength and acting more then uppity these days.
It’s always easy: Just follow the money.
Here’s the problem on that front of being silenced by the media. The Democrats spend money, gobs it especially on the Internet and Republicans don’t. It doesn’t matter if Newt, Byrd or others publish a website, it must be advertised heavily. I am a media guy and Republican supporter, I have done some very impressive things with data, marketing and messaging to the public. When you call the top dogs in Washington in the Republican party, they ask for you to submit the entire plan to them so they can take all credit or ask you fill our endless forms.
The Democrats call you, you tell them to wire the money and it’s done. Now, I will never work for a Democrat again until the party is fixed, perhaps not in my lifetime, LOL. But Republicans are outgunned 10-1 on the web, because Democrats adopted Internet technology and mass marketed and Republicans didn’t. Al Queda adopts and uses the Internet for evil propagandizing and does mass marketing, two things the Democrats have in common (but there are others of course).
It’s Pelosi’s fault that we don’t have
* drilling for domestic oil
* add to the list
