WTF is a world court anyway? (Pardon my ignorance). A bunch of judges, appointed by who-knows-who, who wear silly little collars and sit in The Hague. They don't have jurisdiction in the rest of the United States, much less Texas!

"The world court don't mean diddly," he said.I love Texans. They say what we're all thinking. Doesn't matter whether it's the death penalty, criminal actions against our soldiers, or any other issue, "the world court don't mean diddly."

And the Belgium-based World Court means 'ol squat in Texas.

"The world court don't mean diddly," he said. "This business belongs in the state of Texas. The people of the state of Texas support the execution. We thank them. The rest of them can go to h-ll." Hear, hear!

international law expert Sarah Cleveland warned if the U.S. ignores the U.N. court order, many other countries may follow its example. "...When a global leader like the U.S. refuses to comply with its clear international legal obligations (and everyone agrees that this is a clear legal obligation), it undermines the willingness of other states to comply with their own obligations and it inspires them not to trust us to obey ours."Oh, really? "Everyone agrees that this is a clear legal obligation"? Who's "everyone," Sarah? Anyone other than your own lib looney pals? Or is this just the UN anti-American "everyone"?

"When a global leader like the U.S. refuses to comply with its clear international legal obligations (and everyone agrees that this is a clear legal obligation), it undermines the willingness of other states to comply with their own obligations and it inspires them not to trust us to obey ours." Since when did anyone agree that we have a responsibility to follow the rulings of this foreign court?
We're not even signers to the treaty that created it.
