The toxic Fred Phelps brigade known as "God Hates Fags" invaded the Tony Snow Funeral in Washington, DC.

They picketed Tony because he was straight, religious, a Republican, a conservative and because he worked for the arch-demon, George Bush.
(......not to mention it's also because the members of this satanic little group of grub worms are seriously demented).

I came across these sick, twisted idiots at my Dad’s funeral in Topeka 2 years ago. They were picketing a church down the street from the Church we were in. I was MAD.
What really got to me was the kids. They looked so miserable. Like they were in the last place they wanted to be on a sunny June day. They should have been playing in the park, or swimming, or doing something fun.
I told my husband to drive around the block, which he did. When I told him to stop and let me out, he sped off. The guy didn’t even trust his own WIFE to handle herself with grace and decorum! He knows me too well.

Fred hasn't been seen much lately; he's supposed to be six kinds of senile. It's his daughter Shirley who's been running the show for a while now.

I would not bet on them beginning to fade, once Old Man Phelps dies...I just saw a documentary on this whole Fred Phelps gang, a few days ago....the spokesman for the family, in this documentary, was one of Phelps sons, and he said, that this is exactly what people expect to happen...that Phelps will die, and the family will quit protesting as they do...the son assured the people interviewing him, that nothing could be further from the truth...and that, in fact, once Phelps does die, the family is going to ramp things up quite a bit....it was almost as if, he was saying, that Fred Phelps himself, is restraining the family somewhat...
After watching other members of the Phelps family being interviewed, his other children and the grandchildren, I do believe, what this son says...the grandchildren they interviewed, were quite adamant that they loved carrying their signs, and protesting at funerals....
So when Phelps dies, do not expect this gang to cease their activities...if anything, they may just become even more active and even more evil, if that is possible...
