The boy’s enraged father, who police said saw it happen, allegedly flung open the adjacent stall and punched the janitor, giving him a cut on his lip and a welt on the middle of his head.

Ridiculous that it has come to this in this country, but if the father has to spend a weekend in jail for knocking the crap out of this pervert, then it will be time well spent!

Granted, this is in MA, but I think they will have a really hard time getting a jury to convict dad.

Had this been in Texas and the dad didn't punch the guy, he would have been charged with child neglect.

I speak for all fathers when I say that I would have truly earned assault charges in those circumstances.

Stay with this folks. I’d like to see now this plays out.

I may be in the minority here, but I think the father was in the wrong. Swung a door open and “punched” a guy who was trying to molest his 4 year old son???? A punch???? Whats wrong with this dad? After repeatedly beating the $#%@ out of this sick $#&** I would have cut his **&! off.

Police also charged Beatrice with assault for hitting Rodriguez, saying “they sympathized with him but would have preferred he had waited for police to arrive.”

Rodriguez reportedly told a Spanish language interpreter that he was “just joking around” when he touched Beatrice’s son.

The police chief doesn’t understand want all the fuss is about.

Sounds like the Chief needs a serious beat down.

Your Wednesday morning blood-boiler comes from Raynham, MA.

HAR!, when I saw the thread title I knew it had to be Massachusetts, Vermont, San Fransicko, or Thailand.

Massachusetts prides itself on its 'fisting for third-graders' curriculum in the government schools there, so that's as likely a place as any for a Dad to be arrested for protecting his 4-year-old son from a molester. It wouldn't surprise me if Massachusetts threw the book at him, lol. No sympathy from me, however - - what would a responsible parent be doing taking his child into a place like Massachusetts?

This story is, after all, in Massa-homo-chooosits.... the land of homosexual and pedophile protection and encouragement...

And the homo pedophile is 71 and speaks no English.... something wrong there too... I wonder how long he has been a resident....

And for the father to be charged with anything.... a sham. I guess he should be glad he doesn’t work for the border patrol - he might already be in the federal prison system....

Gosh... I am out of step with the rest of the posts, but I think that I would buy the guys story. I believe the guy was “just joking around.”

I don’t see any serious molestation in the report at all. He grabbed the kid’s leg under the stall. The kid’s father was right there. Sounds more like he was jokin’ than molestin’ to me.

I don’t doubt the joke wasn’t very funny and the joker could use a clue about how hypersensitive American males are about contact with kids.

A beat-down, though? That seems harsh for an above-board, Dad-right-there, no-harm-done joke gone wrong.

i would articulate that i reasonably belived that my son was in imminent physical danger and took steps to counteract the danger by subduing the assailant.

In Arizona one can use deadly force to prevent sexual assault. The old pedophile was caught red-handed.

Even in Massachuesetts one cannot come to the aid of a third party to prevent feloneous [sexual] assault?

Maybe the old pedophile gets a pass in Mass because Mass is "So Gay."
