A San Francisco city and county board resolution that officially labeled the Catholic church's moral teachings on homosexuality as "insulting to all San Franciscans," "hateful," "defamatory," "insensitive" and "ignorant" will be challenged tomorrow in court for violating the Constitution's prohibition of government hostility toward religion.
Resolution 168-08, passed unanimously by the City and County of San Francisco Board of Supervisors two years ago, also accused the Vatican of being a "foreign country" meddling with and attempting to "negatively influence (San Francisco's) existing and established customs."
It said of the church's teaching on homosexuality, "Such hateful and discriminatory rhetoric is both insulting and callous, and shows a level of insensitivity and ignorance which has seldom been encountered by this Board of Supervisors."

A few years from now this moment will be remembered as the beginning of the overt persecution of the Catholic Church and of all Christians who haven’t jettisoned the original Christian teachings.
All Christians and conservatives with any moral values at all should move OUT of San Francrisco ASAP.
When the Almighty decides enough is enough, there won’t be enough time for anyone in that wicked, godforsaken place to escape, hear one ‘ding ding’ of a trolley car, or even finish up a bowl of Rica-A-Roni, ‘The San Francrisco Treat’.
That city will be so utterly wiped from the face of the Earth that there will be no question that it was the Hand of God.
I hope any Catholic worth their salt, livign in this area, will either stop paying taxes to these people, protest or leave the county.
I would also petition the Governor and even higher to get this lot sacked or charged with discrimination and or harrassment.

Not to worry. While not a Catholic I feel safe in saying that most Cathiolics probally find San Francisco as insulting, defamatory, insensitive and ignorant to a moral society.
I know I do.........
I suppose the next step is to throw the Catholic Church under the bus just like they did the U.S. Military. All I can say is this: Ye shall be judged.
No charity either. Cut off the spigot and force Newsom and his fellow intrinsically disordered colleagues to start footing the bill for all of the work the Church does presently at no cost to the taxpayer. Niederauer needs to confront these idiots head on.
