Excerpt -
A teenage Omar Khadr sobs uncontrollably as Canadian spy agents question him at the U.S. military prison in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, in a brief video excerpt released via the internet early Tuesday morning. The 10-minute video posted just after 5 a.m. ET is of poor quality and the voices are often inaudible, as it was never intended to be viewed by the public. But it shows Khadr, 16 at the time, being interviewed by Canadian officials in late February 2003.

The excerpt I read was that the kid threw a grenade in a firefight that killed an American soldier. He’s lucky to be alive.
I caught a small amount of an NPR program this morning which detailed how we torture people at Gitmo — we play the Sesame Street themesong, we play the Barney themesong, and a number of pop songs (some heavy metal, but some sickly sweet). I think the implication was that WE were the bad guys because we play music — THEY are the noble freedom fighters who send suicide bombers into marketplaces where womena and children go shopping.
they found the bodies of the two soldiers kidnapped a year ago. I’m willing to bet that those corpses bore marks of torture. I wish there would be an outcry for the obscene real torture of our soldiers when they fall into the hands of our common enemy.
Sorry, no sympathy here.
He’s a terrorist who killed an American.
If he wants sympathy, it’s in the dictionary between sh!t and syphilis.
Gee, I wonder what gave this as*hole the first clue?
You can count on it. The Army doesn't like to talk about such things, but remember what happened to these two brave American soldiers who were captured and butchered by Al Qaeda in 2006:
No, we don't.
Poor widdle terrorist. We should give him some milk and cookies and send him home.
Better yet, give him some more grenades and set him loose in Toronto. See how they like him in Canada then.
It’s NPR, they hate America.

“I don’t care about you—**** you!
“I don’t care about you!”
This animal was found on a battlefield, killing our soldiers but not wearing a uniform. Under the rules, he is a spy and is entitled to execution on the spot.
These people don't like Gitmo, fine. Dig a trench, put a bullet in them, and cover the trench.
Maybe we could ask Mike Spann what he thinks, or he is still unavailable for comment?
I wonder if there is a video that shows the mother of the dead American serviceman sobbing uncontrollably? She will probably weep for the rest of her life. I say Khadr gets to stop crying when her son or daughter comes back to life and she stops crying. That might be awhile . . .
Berkley or the halls of our Supreme court might be better locations.
Weeping teen? If he's old enough to murder a Marine with a hand grenade, then he's old enough to get thwacked around.
