This is probably Hillery’s last chance. The Clintons were never known as good losers. I do not believe she will go quietly.
If he keeps slipping in the polls, she WILL be the VP nominee. No doubt about it.
Hill isn’t finished with the magic negro by a damn site. This has been fun to watch and its going to get even better. Obummwer is a light weight, he’s going to be left scratching his head wondering what the hell happened. Got to love it.
Obama wanted to speak from the podium at the stadium in Nurenburg — bu the Allied armies blew it up. Our Fueher-wannabe will have to take second choice
I wouldn't rule it out entirely, but I think the odds of that happening are remote. Obama's popularity will probably peak around the time of his convention, and he'll figure his chances are good enough without her on the ticket.
Right now, Hillary has to face the reality that her Senate seat will be up for re-election in four years, and she has a mountain of campaign debt to retire.
Ref. your tagline: From your lips to God’s ears.
Pair? Didn't Carville say, if she gave one to Obama, they'd both have two?
Prole,
You observations are quite correct and people are forgetting these very important points. Most people have never really been involved in politics so do not understand these kinds of things.
“Remember that secret meeting at Feinstein’s house several weeks ago? What the heck was that all about?”
I can tell you some of it...
My best friend’s mother worked for decades for the California Democratic party. She is retired now but is still has many connections within the party.
Anyhoo...
At that meeting Obama offered Hillary the VP slot or any other position she would desire in return for her support.
Her reply, to quote my friends mom, was a very terse “thanks but no thanks” which was followed with (in so many words) “Don’t call us, we’ll call you.”.
Hillary is not out of the race and as time goes on has a very good chance of getting the nomination. This is further “confirmed” to me by the perceived “lack of action” out of the McCain campaign. The Republicans know that Hillary is not out of it yet and there is no sense in wasting resources on Obama when there is a chance he won’t even be the nominee.
One other thing that has the Democrats really worried is Bill Clinton. He has been having a lot of discussions recently with Joe Lieberman and some other people. I am going to guess that if the Democrats dis Hillary and their supporters like they have and will not allow her name to even be put up for nomination like the Dems are planning then the Clinton’s will both leave the party sometime in September and I would not be surprised to see them endorse McCain.
Excellent choice..!!
One of the gals (I don’t remember her name) was on Cavuto yesterday. She was so annoying. The guy filling in for Neil (don’t know the guy but really, really like him) had to bite his tongue from laughing at her.
I would have given anything to be a fly on the wall during that super secret meeting at Feinstein's house several weeks ago!
Thank you again for helping get the word out!
Fascinating stuff.
Don’t have to - I saw ‘68. [I’m an old man!]
